Just my opinion mate, but i hope you do end up in the mix.I just think if fev get a few key players injured, your squad is not as big as Leigh or Fax.Bigger the squad the more fresh players will be mate.But goodluck to fev though as my team Widnes wont be in the mix.

I appreciete your loyalty in that not one fax fan thinks you'll lose (who's posted anyway) but average scores and anti fax refs (please) the league table doesn't lie, fev have scored more and conceded less than any other team (even with a few anti fev refs

) and won 11 of 12 games, and included in those results are the current champions away the NRC holders away and the second placed team away. I don't think we're fading we're just getting our tough games out of the way before the other contenders.
I do feel your players will want to prove a point and avenge the thrashing you got at our place but i honestly can't see it with the schedule you've had recently and the paper bag sytem of defending that you have at the club.

I do however think it will be a corker between THE 2 best teams in the division who don't rely on borrowing half of pooper scooper league to get anywhere.

pleasing thing for fax is our best players are coming into form black is playing 10x better than he was on good friday, plus Nash has given us a real threat due to his offloads and with the speed to take advantage of that we are always gonna score plenty of points. Toulouse showed the rest of the league how to beat fev hopefully MC will have picked up some tips!

no dount Tolouse's win againt Fev was based on a good solid kicking game from Wynn. if Brannighan can produce a top kicking display then we have the players to play off the back of that.

although they have some pretty good kickers, which is why i put Haley in instead of White for the high bombs.

The only thing I can predict is Bill Arthur's rendition of "Saiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid"

I do think our short turn around (and the amount of defending we had to do) and their weekend off will definately count tonight, if only in the closing stages. If we don't control the ball and forced to defend for long periods I can keep us leaking easy points. I think we need to try and put them away in the first half. If we don't I can see Fev nicking it.

We do not have a coach who can properly coach and get us to win the matches that count. Its OK playing entertaining Rugby. But as a team struggle to do the basics. Cant do the basics you are not going to win silverware.

nearly anything that could have gone wrong did tonight.

We fell off tackles, our timing was out with passes, players were caught out of position & it looks like Gleese picked up a bad injury.

We got a bonus point, better than nothing.

Frank was our best player, always going forward.

Fev play hard in defence & run some good lines in attack.

Fev get away with a hell of a lot, Powell runs the refs.
They are up quick and slow down the ptb, often illegally.
They are top but very beatable.

Another frustrating day at the shay.

At least if were going to lose to a better team make them earn it, we made far too many errors AGAIN!

and yet, other than toulouse in the league this season, no other team has managed to do that!
