How many times do you think Ostick actually reads the rules and regulations regarding the various cup and league competitions? Yes, he should have atleast mentioned the fact he played for Rochdale a month prior to the Swinton game but the staff at the club, that get paid to do administerial work not get smashed on a rugby field every week, should know the rules andregulations.

I disagree. The supporters know that a player cant play for two or more teams in a cup competition in one season so surely the players do. The player is as guilty in this as anyone.

Everything will come out in the wash I'm sure, today is far too early to make any decisions. I wonder who's job it is at the RFL to scrutinise the team-sheets from each game, surely this should have been discovered earlier than three hours prior to kick off if the allegations are correct. The RFL will have had the teamsheets from all the previous rounds of the cup since the refs of the games despatched them.

I've said this on another thread but the point stands here as well.

Karl Harrison said on Radio Leeds this morning that the RFL have had team sheets for this tie for at least 3 weeks and it is someone's job to check these things. He said the game should have gone ahead and we as a club should have been dealt with afterwards.

While the whole situation is nothing short of humiliating for the sport as a whole, as MM said, "[itoday is far too early to make any decisions[/i" and I tend to agree. It [imight[/i not be the clubs fault.

I never asked in the first place it was told to me voluntarily in conversation - Just found it odd that he had gone away for so long mid season. Still nothing about the club can surprise me now.
