I'm not sure that gate receipts are split until round 5 of the cup. As far as I'm aware you get a fixed fee now because of the free entrance to season ticket holders. £2000 for the last round and somewhere around £9000 for the 4th round. Then it's prize fund plus 50% gate receipts in round 5.

Its a really good draw for us Oldham recently won comfortably at Swinton so it will be no problem for Fax.

There is very little - just a small stand on one side - and there is barely any terracing as such.

When we last played there against Oldham in one of their involuntary 'on the road' games two or three years ago, no-one was allowed into the stand until just before kick-off. The explanation given to me, as I queued up, was that they let the season ticket holders and 'dignitaries' take their seats and then, knowing how many seats were actually available and unused on the day, let the general populace, upon paying a supplement, take up the remaining seats.

Don't stay in the bar too long pre-match is the answer! Or get someone to stake a place in the queue for you.

We should be hitting the half century against Swinton to be fair. The players just need to learn to respect the opposition and respect the ball more. As long as we defend properly and do the basics then there is no problem.

Batley will be tough for Siddal though I think if Siddal are within 6 Points at HT then Batley could be for the taking. Doubt there will be a big crowd sadly for this one

Watched them when our game was called off.Play very physical and give plenty of ball away due to their poor discipline.They have had a player sent of in nearly every game this season.Phil Joseph was the outstanding player when i went.Massive pack but not very mobile,and very slow round the ruck.

It's not bad, it's just basic. Really well-maintained ground, the clubhouse has a really good choice of beers and Swinton have simply got to work within their resources - I used to like visiting Gigg Lane but it simply costs too much to operate a big ground on a few hundred fans. They do their best at Sedgley and you'll have a good day out.

Aye suppose. As long as it's a decent game, I won't complain about the ground. Will be good to see the old faces like Southern and Heaton.

I wouldnt under estimate The Lions like half of you are doing. Im sure whatever the score will be the fax players will know they have been in a game at the final whistle. Sedgeley park is a great ground aswell, many fans like coming here especially when the suns around.

Not underestimating Swinton at all. But Fax have the ability to score points against anybody. Last year they were very unlucky to lose away to Castleford. This year we have added even moire quality to the team. Fax I feel will hit 50 points against Swinton. They do it enough in the Championship! Swinton will have a point to prove and will look to slow Fax down

We also score points for fun but also concede points for a laugh aswell, i can see this game being closer than you think, especially in the first 60 mins. Are your lads fulltime?
