If they want to try something different they ought to look to the Aussie coverage, The Camera that follows players up and out of the Tunnel for State Of Origin is a good thing which could be copied for the "Big" Games

Think Saints have been mugged a bit. Bentham is clueless and as for Ganson....he either gave a forward pass or a knock on againt Gardner and it was neither.

How unlucky was Kyle Eastmond though, after some amazing footwork (with a bit of luck) he got pushed out just before Grounding it

It made me laugh tonight .... we have this whinging whino fan at work who really HATES Bentham and he ... along with the rest of the whino set up ... thinks he's got it in for them. But that video ref decision tonight was awful, Smith was DEFINITELY offside, how could he give that? And what with the "high tackle" he did us for last weekend at a crucial time. Ganson's no better ... scrubbing the tackle count clean when the ball was kicked against a scouse player from half a yard. Crucial call. I know reffing must be tough but some decisions are real howlers and gamebreakers. Bentham had no excuse because he could take his time.

And I noticed SKY didn't do the "floating camera" stuff as much in the 2nd half. It wouldn't have surprised me if their switchboard was jammed with complaints so they decided to ditch it.

Well i thought it was onside, don't even see BOTD come into it. Smith was in line with the saints player on that 'new' camera angle, which is where the ball was on the toe of Sinfield. Don't see what the problem is.

Look at the line. Smith was certainly more in front of that line than the kicker. It was totally obvious. Bentham and some other"believers" were trying to apply quantum physics to the situation when it was bluddy obvious Smith WAS in front! Bluddy 'ell.

Lot of crowd trouble after game apparently.

No suprise to hear this. I was in the saints end tonight and numurous scuffles occured to say the least , quite a shame as tonights game was a very decent one for the neutral to watch and the saints bunch are that bad at all. Segregation at grand finals has to be looked at i think though.

Saints are probably getting annoyed that they keep getting beat every year and even when they finish second they still lose the final.

Eastmond's try should have been disallowed as he touched it before Donald knocked it back to him to regather and score.

The Smith try should also have been disallowed as his foot was in front of the ball as McGuire kicked it. Both feet must be behind the kicker.

I was in the Leeds end and it's the second Grand Final this year where they ran out of hot food before half time! Think us white rose's must eat too much!

There was no trouble outside the ground with Leeds fans, just over zealous stewards and Police trying to nab people sneaking the PLASTIC beer bottles up.

Where I was sat I couldn't really see the screen but it did look like Eastmond knocked it onto Donald for his try.

I'd hate to be that successful, Leeds fan didn't really celebrate after the win, must be getting too used to winning. Still it must hurt the Leeds Utd fans that the only way they get to see a Leeds team win at Old Trafford is to support the Whinos!

A great game and spectacle once again, we had a great day out on the King Cross Park trip as per usual but the miserable Saints fans in the West stand upper tier behaved like -holes for the second year running.
My fourteen year old lad and three of his team-mates were attacked by grown men as they were leaving the stadium with 5 minutes of the game remaining, one of them aged approx 40-45 year old aimed a kicked at my lad who was sat nearest the aisle and when the stewards and police intervened amongst other neutral fans , one of his mates spat at our lads, big big men in their forties who can't stomach their beer or losing a game of rugby league






We were in a block booking of approx 100 seats ( two coachloads ) and our kids just happened to be the nearest targets and they were sat down and the group of 10-12 blokes of middle age were stood up beckoning them for a fight the brailess fools. Fortunately we were sat further away in the middle of the block otherwise there would have been real trouble, guaranteed.
It was the same last year, I hope they don't get to the final day again, great rugby club, brilliant rugby team, rubbish supporters.
