Thank you
Remember what a torrid time Roberts had in the centres up at Barra too, gotta get the balance right in the playoffs, cover too admittedly. Wish we had another back but... hey ho. Cant have too many out of position though, too many forwards whether utility or not wont be good, should we lose a back.
James gives us extra mobility and go forward as does Bannister, i see both them playing in the first choice squad if fit.
Come on Matt James sign for Fax, your name is already made here, and if you have a good year with us a proper SL club will snap you up or you will join us on our march to glory and the place we belong. You might get a couple of quid more at Quins, but you wont be wanted like here

He's defensive against Toulouse was superb always going in low but hard. Took the ball up hard and straight as well. Would start him against Barrow.

| Yes, Bannister deserves a contract. He is a ready made replacement for Larder.

| Bannister looks a really good prospect - does the defence and now can see the power in the attacking play

| Bannister IS another Larder - does all the nuggety dirty work that isn't obvious. And showed some nice touches against Toulouse on the fringes.

| i agree, really like wat iv seen with bannister!
has put some quality shots on in defence. and looks preety sharp with ball in hand aswell.
i would deffo give him a contract.
as for matt james, would love to see him in a fax shirt next year!
but if not, the next 2games and a team pic with the grand final trophy will do me

He has impressed me greatly, if James isn't fit I'd put him in and move Larder up to Prop and Roberts in the Second Row.

I prefer larder in the second row as i think we are fairly weak at defending on the fringes and larder helps out there. Bannister is a tough one, good tackler but hasn't shone greatly would have to see who we have lined up for next season before making a decision

| I agree, its tough one, we may have 3 games left this season, it may be just 2, you want to give him game time, but you also want him to make the grand final and be as fit as possible.
If we win and he doesnt play, its going to be hard for him to be firing on any cylinders with no game time under his belt.
Strap his arm up and give him a run out, couple of short spells. A Matt James with game time under his belt will be priceless should we lose and or make it to the final.
He plays, if he can.

Would be a massive suprise if he was able to play. Anyone who has had a similar injury will vouch for this.Pot off and playing the week after very doubtful but great if he could do it.
