Absolutely rich. Our season has ground to a halt. Still, I enjoyed it whilst it lasted. Been a Fax fan long enough now to get used to this feeling. Rule of thumb as a fax fan - expectations low!

It's a knee trembler now to the finish. We're limping to the finish line and confidence is smashed.

Why pick Greenwood? Why have 4 forwards on the Bench when Greenwood is a risk? Wheres the game plan? Why are we not doing the basics? Players discipline on and off the field is awful-will Calland do owt? The team is low on confidence and is being run by a coach who in my opinion is losing it. I await to hear the next excuses from Calland and the boys. As usual we promise much and deliver sod all. We have idiots running around causing problems at games and the club does Feck all! And some people think we should be in SL in 2012!

Woah, woah !!! Put the brakes on a mo. We've had a bad couple of months. Let's get some perspective and start the "post mortem" in October, if it's needed.

I expect us to put a team out that competes.I did not expect to win tonight but the decisions made by the coaching staff and the way players are angers me. The way people behave at our game angers me even more when its seemingly being allowed to happen.

No bonus point, then.

yes we were turd. In fact worse performance in past few seasons against a team who i fear are better than us. And risking miles was plain stupid.
But digging up the same issues week after week just after we lose undermines any points made. Make these same points after we thrash toulouse.What has tonight's performance got to do with the trouble makers? We have played four forwards on the bench many times and destroyed teams. I assume tonight we were arrogant, drunk, violent (fans), and its all matt's fault. I just thought collectively we were rubbish. But i know i'll definitely be the vast minority.

Very disappointing tonight from 'fax you looked lost as a team just before half time and your pack was well beaten. I was expecting a hell of a lot more from your lot tonight. I'd be very worried with this form coming into the business end of the season.

We weren't very good tonight and lost a game of rugby because of it against a good team. I dont see the need to slit me wrist. Theres no rule written anywhere that the mighty Halifax cant lose 2 in a row. These things happen.

Utter rubbish tonight. But am sure the player and coach know what mistakes they made and will do their best to correct them.

Good turn out by Fax fans to i thought, about 400 in a 4,000 crowd.

I was disapppointed with Dwayne's departure. He had a 50/50 season up to when he left but he was played sporadically and often out of position. I thought he had a few good games but there you go. The team is losing confidence at the wrong end of the season.

Tonight was a masterclass from Widnes which against a team of 'fax's calibre I suppose should be equally as satisfying.

well we are still top of the league and have 2 games in hand on second place. just looking at the positives.

Just got back...that was really embarrassing tonight, we didnt have a clue. Something is not right at the moment.

Well nothing to say apart from we were rubbish. We couldn't hold the ball and i imagine we only completed 2 full sets in the second half which is appauling.

Widnes looked good but was that because we were so bad? Anyway that doesn't matter to them as they have won when it counts this season and i might rater be in Widnes' shoes at the minute even if they are 3rd and we are top. Not sure if that will be the same come September time.

Anyway this forum is full of doom and gloom at the minute so thats all I want to say rather than getting drawn into it all!

My mate and me sat in amongst the Widnes supporters tonight and they were extremely passionate (not very knowledgeable, but passionate) and Yes it was embarassing.

That has to be one of the worst performances I have seen from a Halifax team in a long while, and its a long drive home from Widnes, in the rain, with the gloating of the Widnes fans still ringing in your ears.
