If Sundays game looks at all in doubt due to the pitch it should be be switched to Batley if at all possible in good time.

Not a chance that pitch can stand 2 games in a week. According to the players it were no better than before when it was re-laid so I dread to think the state of it at the moment.

Well footy game called off due to drainage issues again, personally I wouldn't be paying rent for something that is restricting income either. It's a terrible state of affairs that will ok doubt end up with a backlog of games for both teams.

i looked at the pitch at around half 12 and it was never going to be played then,dont know why they left it that late to pull the plug

People were saying there were large puddles on the pitch even at that time. No wonder ShayTrev has got his knickers well and truly in a twist again.

Re-laying the pitch without doing all the other stuff was like putting a band aid on a broken leg.

Town fans going mad over the late postponement yet anyone with any sense knew that game was never going ahead. It will be lucky if any games go ahead in January at all given the state of it.

Maybe half a bob job wouldnt have been done if it were not council ran.

Fully agree Greg, BUT, if the Shay did become privately owned by the only person showing any interest, he could never win. One postponement, water, frost or snow would be the fault of that man and not an act of God.
