I loved Worrincy however he bet against the club. We had no option other than to get rid unfortunately.

So why didn't we sack him as soon as he got done by the rfl. Bizarre that we didnt then let him go at end of season. But then again KH never seemed to like him. Lets face it he would pick the cart horse Rettie before him. We went from having wingers who scored 20+ tries season each and returned the ball quickly to wingers who seem to just make up the numbers.

I think Potts is a cracking winger, just seems unfit or low on confidence at the moment. Can't have been easy playing as a winger for KH.

Charlie, I've never understood this Worrincy love in love in. He was average at best and cost us almost as many tries as he scored. That said, he is ten times the player that Brown is. See you in a couple of weeks. Sportsman, shudds. Mallinsons Waimea 3.8 % Mmm!

Rob has his weaknesses but he is the last Fax player that can get an 80 metre try and is a proven finisher and a top bloke I wish he was still a Fax player a good ambassador for the club his betting apart!

Potts, even Brown at Whitehaven? About the only thing that he's done since joining us.

Agree Potts is an excellent winger, just vastly under utilised on that right wing. We predominantly attack towards the left or down the middle and every other team in the league knows we are weak on that left side and exploit it. Potts barely gets a touch of the ball.
I am starting to feel really sorry for Brown, he had a good season at Batley last year but is not hacking it this year and it is getting painful to watch. I am all for giving players a chance rather than the KH one bad game and you are dropped approach....but this is awful. What is the story with Saxton he has been seemingly available for selection for the last 3 weeks ?

Tommy was reported as available for last week after recovering from a back injury but whether he had a reaction to it or RM just stuck with the same backline as Wakefield is unknown.
Prior to that he was injured, even Tommy has not been playing to his usual standard by his own admission so far this year.
Potts looks good in some games showing some strength and pace as he brings the ball out but does go missing in other games.
Alex has not had the best of starts and on Sunday was exposed by Sam Smeaton getting the better of Chris Taylor and having to move in as extra cover, Rob just had to wait for the pass and stroll over.

You surprise me there John.How we(me included) watched the 2003 season though i'l never know.

for me, one of the most disappointing things about this is season is the lack of uncertainty in the comp.

you can pretty much predict with some confidence what the result of each fax game will be.

we're really in limbo, I was hoping we could make a good crack at the top sides this year and pick the odd one off. despite encouraging performances, our lack of attacking ability has let us down massively.

now we're faced with a home game against Doncaster, another game where the outcome of the result isn't in doubt and us fans are asked to shell our £20 to watch an event without any suspense.

I still believe we can make 4th simply because Fev, Dewsbury and London are in the same boat as us. But to do so, we will need to pull off a shock result somewhere along the line.

People who watched both games on sunday don't think next week will be such a gimmee Frank.

A good day out until the game not a happy day for Murrell on his 250th career app nor for most of the team.Sheffield are an excellent side bit i struggle to find many positives,i am a fan of WR but a one legged geriatric could have scored that hat trick.
The Donny fans i know are upbeat about there teams performance and as Sean Wallace says on "The Chase" i take nothing for granted and neither should we

Pete it's just that I have always rated Worrincy, he is very fast and an elusive runner and always seems to cause defences problems and scores tries,what a winger should do.I have seen the 3 scored against Fax on Seagulls TV and whatever you say they still had to be touched own, I'd always have Rob I my team,and look where it is in the Fax Fantasy League.

Im very serious about it being a Cracker, games between Leigh and Fax always seem to be ,whatever the result I think it will be a hard ,close game ,a couple of seasons ago Fax put around 60 past Leigh at the Shay ,I left head bowed and know it's not a nice feeling, the game on May 10th will be very hard and between 2 decent teams ,a good atmosphere great Fans ,I can't wait ,a game I always look for when the fixtures come out,all you Faxers get down to the LSV and cheer your boys on.

Not sure this time unfortunately you are miles in front of us and its not a very attractive proposition going to see your team get well beat for £19!!

I think you are doing your team an injustice here ,Leigh are not miles in front of Fax ,maybe we are higher in the League , but we lost last year at Donny ,and Keighley gave us a very hard game ,I take nowt for granted,and expect a very hard game,the only point of unsure is the contents of Bentleymans shopping bag



and if Hudd-Shay will mmmmmmmmmm the Local brew.

Just thought Sheffield gave us a masterclass in the backs. Sam Smeaton was excellent and is a player that we should have targeted at beginning of season. Always rated Worrincy who is a great finisher and was sad to see him leave. More than matched Sheffield in forwards.
