I think sheffield are a decent side, I know they'd only won 1 game (i think) until yesterday but they've only lost all their other games by 12 or less. The number of ex fax players they have in their team means that they were always going to be up for it yesterday, plus they had a number of players out injured. Think Shffield will be more than competitive when they get players such as Groom back playing.

I agree regarding the bonus point though, shocking not to get one, especially as we had one in the bag with about a minute to go!

Okay okay its in the rules then but come on it is not what the speccies want to see is it, think about this -
Sheffield scored eight goal kicks so at the 1 minute per kick rule which it must have been all of that per kick yesterday then there was 8 minutes out of the 80 just for them.

EIGHT MINUTES for goodness sake stood watching some guy stand looking at a rugby ball then deciding to kick it at bl**dy goal!

I was pointing out that there is little the ref can do. I think it should be like the union code. 60 secs to kick it or you lose the kick completely.

I think you're being harsh on the ref and harsh on Woodcock TBH.

I think he stopped it for most if not all kicks but didn't seem to do it straight away. It was all about rubbing it in and getting us miffed and nothing else.

Stopped it after a minute every time. Fax lad too - though, obviously, not as often.

Just like dropping out under the posts ,that seems to take an eternity also.

Ah but the whistleblowers are more eager to stop the clock with a drop out under the sticks, than for kicking.

Sorry I should have said, when the team dropping out, throws the ball as far away as possible, then it passes through about six pairs of hands before being kicked. All teams do this to gain some kind of advantage.

Agree it's painful to watch, and a kick under the posts shouldn't need such careful preparation... but if we'd defended better and not given the penalties away, he wouldn't have had the chance to go for so many kicks at goal...

Hey this did not lose us the game I am not saying that what I am saying is was there any REAL need to take so long for those goal kicks?
As Dors says I am sure it was more about rubbing it in and gaining a psychological advantage - it worked!
Plus you seem to forget what I also said in that its not what we pay our money to watch is it?
I think this is borderline unsporting behaviour imo - like you said so is the drop outs I think the RFL need to review both and give Refs the power to give a penalty for drop outs that take forever or stop the goal being kicked if the kicker is taking too long.
Tough, you only need 30 seconds to goalkick surely?
