Probably none of the top 6. Lilley is not really an elite half back at this level and most those teams are in good shape for next season. I would imagine it would be Widnes, York, and possibly Newcastle.

Let me see John Kear or a Halifax fan trying to big up the Keyes signing?. I wonder who to believe. Keyes was never in the Bulls thoughts as a signing for 2022.

Now confirmed

Quality signing and we nearly had him before his move to Hull KR by all accounts. Certainly a big upgrade on Harris, Robinson, and Grix if we can keep him on the field. In Keyes and Joufrett we would potentially have our most exciting half back combination in nearly a decade.

Hopefully the extra speed and craft of Keyes/walmsley and Wood will help us get on the front foot more next season as there seems to be a dearth of the type of forwards we'd all like to see at the club.

Quality signing and in my view is good enough for Super League. Probably better than Harris as has that experience.
Not quite sure why we have been linked with other Half backs.

Was disappointed that Harris left as he had an impact when playing, but I do think we’ve upgraded with Keyes .

That brings the squad to 17 with another 9/10 coming in which will be a similar size squad to last year unless it’s fleshed out with some loanees .

I’m not sure jouffret is coming as the stronger rumours seem to be linked with Aston , I can’t see us having Aston Robinson Keyes and jouffret ( I hope I’m wrong )

Rumoured incomings are :

Lachlan walmsley , Brandon Douglas , Alex Walker , jouffret, Corey Aston , Kyle wood , joe arundal .

That leaves another 2/3 personally I’d rather have one of Aston or jouffret and have some more oomph in the forwards as I think that’s what’s needed plus another winger as we’ve lost rawsthorne and McGrath, although tibbs might get more game time .

Certainly going to be an interesting few weeks and I’d be interested to see who grixs’ starting 13 will be once all the signings are complete.

Alex Walker is one that I have not really heard. If thats right then it makes me wonder if the rumours of JWH leaving could be true because with Walmsley and Walker we would be well covered at Fullback and I don't see JWH as a centre his defense is not strong enough and again well covered at half back. The lad playing at London, Gwaze, is another of the forwards that has been mentioned a few times and Matty Gee from Leigh who will add some size. We have to assume that with all these signing then the ambition is an improvement on last year and a target of a top 2 finish?

It's never nice losing players who've been committed to the club and have made a real contribution to past success - for this season I'd include Harris here - but most accept we can't afford a massive squad and that to bring in new quality players some of the existing squad have to go. The exception for me here has to be JWH, having had the chance of a run in his preferred position for the first time , he improved his defence and positional play, and became both a great link in a attack and someone who could bring the ball out from defence . Earlier in the season he looked for the first time like a potential superleague player - he should be coming into his prime now and along with Salty would be the only one I'd be absolutely gutted to see leaving.

Fax cryptic signing suggests Foster but everything points to him going to Newcastle. Would be a great signing at this level though. Going to go for Walmsley but hoping its a surprise and is Foster. Would make sense announcing someone that people don't know is nailed on.
