The tackle in itself is nothing more than a penalty for being slightly late in my view, there is no head shot on Sam at all, however, the follow up incident is where he may get hit with a big ban. Dane was silly and im sure he knows it but all this rubbish being spouted about him is laughable.

I've said this from the minute i saw it live and haven't changed my opinion.Apparantly im told there is another
view which suggests a headbutt is first contact, but the rfl have charged him with shoulder ?? suppose we will
see tomorrow.

| The Bulls should just drop it now as this constant whining at being the victim in all of this is just alienating them even further. Living in Northowram/Shelf during the height of Bull power was pretty galling and I for one have been taking a great deal of pleasure in watching it all unfold (not that we've room to talk).
It'll be interesting to see how long Marc Green does hang around for once he's clawed back his brass that he's owed. They're going to have a shock but it does us all good to wear a hair shirt from time to time which they may have to get used to if they stay in that crumbling hole at the top of a hill ground.
Rugby League family....cat , ferrets in a sack more like.

Yep it was pretty hard to stomach there were glory fans everywhere - they all used to come to Halifax for a walk round in their Bulls Shirts sing at anyone in Blue and White - I remember watching Bulls v Newcastle Knights in 2002 WCC at Huddersfield - after game were were at train station all Bulls fans were glum (you'd have thought they'd lost) we asked one what was up she said "we are so used to winning trophies we dont celebrate" - Moral is enjoy the good times they dont last forever!!

| On Boots they stated that Bradford and their legal team were 100% sure that if it went to the high court they would win.
Something is not right either in the process for originally docking the points and subsequently having that decision upheld by the appeals panel or with the Bulls and the legal advise they are receiving.
Both parties include comments about the good of the game as a whole.
Well if that's the case whoever is in the wrong should be held accountable in that context because the entire fiasco is doing the game as a whole no good whatsoever.

| Who are the Bulls taking legal action against?
Bulls v RFL ? Wasnt the body independant of the RFL? The legal precedent it could set for sport in general? What if they win but they are 8 pts a drift? Do Wakey or Salford have to wait before they plan for 2015 if the gap is below 6 pts?

| Its laughable, I would go as far to say they do not stand a chance of getting the result they desire in the high court.
I think their chairman is showing a distinct lack of experience when it comes to dealing with the RFL if he thinks this will turn out well for him.

| Win, lose or draw, the solicitors and barristers get paid so of course they want to challenge and go to high court, Kerching!!. It would be a dangerous precedent should they win, I can't see it myself but I have no idea what grounds they would appeal a decision of an appeal made by a independent panel. Suck it bulls and deal with the consequences of what the owners did at the time. Every other club has had to.

| After Wakefield's result at the weekend they could probably get all the points back and still go down. Let 'em appeal and waste their brass....oh hang on, they haven't got any have they? I wonder who's paying for all this?

The Kerching point about the solicitors and barristers is part of the Bulls argument in their defence.
They reason that if they were not so confident they would not be spending this money on a pointless exercise if they had any doubts about the outcome.

Yes but all the information they are getting to how strong their case is, presumably from the same legal team that though they would get the 6 points back from the independent panel, turkey's voting for Christmas again. They said last time we wouldn't be doing it if we didn't have a strong case, they didn't go in with the right information which makes me think puss poor legal team, get it right first time or when it all goes pear shaped, you will be a creditor trying to collect from their next administrator

Flip it on it's head, all the information they are getting to how weak their case is from the RFL and this panel which will have looked at how the RFL came to it's conclusion and decision.
The Bulls appeal must centre on the RFL process, the panel is not necessarily there to determine the validity of that process rather that the RFL adhered to it.
Could be that Bradford think it's puss poor decision making by the RFL in the first place and their process is legally flawed.
For me it's not only about Bradford it's more about the RFL showing that they have handled this situation correctly, if they have fine but if not then they need to get their act together because another club down the line could be adversely affected by their incompetence which has a very familiar ring to it.

| All the court could do is rule that the process the RFL took was wrong which would mean them re-doing it. They have not got the power to say the Bulls can have however many points back so it seems a waste of time unless they think by dragging something like this out they can put their relegation on hold.............

| When the appeal is thrown out, the RFL should give them a further 6 points deduction starting next season.
I have said before I see no joy in any clubs demise, (except one ) but their attitude stinks, they think they are owed privileges simply for their past success.
Success which left them broke and in the position they are in now.
Incidentally didn't the RFL buy their ground to help them with their difficulties?

| I have no feelings for or against the Bulls but what they did or failed to do in the past, that's gone and the ones responsible for it are as well and as usual someone else is left picking up the tab.
If the process that lead to the Bulls being deducted the points is legally flawed then the penalty cannot be valid and any penalty imposed must be null and void and should be revoked.
If it is not then tying the two above together this means those currently in charge of the Bulls should be held responsible for prolonging the issue and claiming a false legal position.

| How about instead of wasting 10's of thousands pounds on a pointless legal case. Use that money to back back the creditors they shafted to put themselves in this position in the first place.

| 2nd time I believe as they were wanting the OK situation sorting out and going into administration was the only option, as I say it is only what I have heard so may have as much truth in it as a Super League contract for Sam Barlow,.
We shall see but this is the reason I have been told is behind their next legal attempt.

It surely is a "huge task" lose tomorrow and it doesn't matter whether the decision is overturned.
Do we want the decision to be overturned and them still go down? As they will.
Or do we want the decision to be upheld?
If it is upheld it would show the incompetence of the RFL.

| As before I would prefer to know what is going on simply because the RFL have been involved from the start with the Bulls more than any other club so how do they stack up.
I have no faith in the RFL in being able to show leadership or make correct decisions which clearly has implications beyond the Bulls or any one club.
It involves the entire game when it is still going through some tough times and will be entering the new format structure very soon.
