| I really hope 'for the fax fans, that your BOD can get you out of this A league at the next round of licences, because if your still in it i fear your hard working BOD will become tired of the struggle and will just call it a day.
I'm still in shock at this decision by the current leigh BOD.
In october 2011 and thru the 2012 season they begged and scrounged 10s of thousands of pounds of us to keep the club alive and then this is how they repay us.
To say i feel betrayed would be an understatement.
Welcome to the junior warriors.

| If Halifax joined up with Huddesfield, Bradford or any other Super League club to that matter my 22 years as a supporter of the club would come to a end. I feeel sorry for the Leigh fans and I am really sad that a great club like that can sell its soul to its maine rivals Disgusting.

| Part Quote "I really hope 'for the fax fans, that your BOD can get you out of this A league at the next round of licences, because if your still in it i fear your hard working BOD will become tired of the struggle and will just call it a day."
End of Quote.
That was one of my main worries that if it ended up where Fax in our case could not progress then the BOD's would not have any incentives for their hard work and may throw the towel in.
I have had a re think and something John Kear said on Boots the other night I thought was interesting.
He said that some supporters only follow Championship rugby league and have no interest in Super League.
I suppose applying it to Fax if that was the case and the door was shut for SL as long as we were keeping our own identity and playing some good competative RL I think most could go with that and be there each week watching them play.
Providing the support did not drop off too drastically I think the club could still be run well and break even or make a small profit to avoid going into the red and the BOD would still do their best for the club.

| Besides the problems that people see within the clubs, this issue is now tearing supporters apart.
Look at that rather unprofessional statement put out by Swinton last week, an angry reaction to some comments made by a section of their support, voicing their concerns that Warrington may well have pressured the Lions into appointing their man.
Comments made on the Leigh forum, a lot of people unhappy with the decision.
If we were to go down this route (and I hold a very string view that i'm against it) I'd be even more upset if we were to get into bed with the Bulls or a club we see as a rival.
People who choose to support Hunslet generally live within the City of Leeds and probably in the smaller Hunslet area. They make the choice to support their team as oppose to supporting the Rhinos, same goes with Leigh fans choosing to suuport Leigh as opposed to going up the road to watch Wigan, who have had plenty of glory in the past couple of decades.
People choose to support a club, sometimes because they're taken along by a family member, but sometimes because they have an interest in the sport and they can identify with a club. If you take that identity away, then why should they keep going?

Sheffield unlikely to succeed this time around - at least.
They won't have a ground and probably not the fans either.

Happen - but Sky don't want to be televising games with low crowds.
Also - there's no sugar daddy either.
