I heard we have a guy coming out of retirement to play that spot. Lets hope he is half as succesful as the last player who came out of retirement to play that spot.

Personally I prefer Sharp on the wing as he is one of the best in the Championship, he probably didn't end up looking like that for the old reason that we never got the ball to him.

I think Greg is pulling some collective legs on this one. I've heard our full back spot could be filled by the much muted Grixxy or Ian Hardman. Don't rule my views out, I was right about the accounts being late, and Shaun Robinson signing. Take a bow Fuzzy.

Can't fault sharpey always committed , very brave and for me better than Moss was . If it's lee Smith they are considering at fullback all I would ask is that he doesn't play or get paid unless he gets himself back in shape . He has all the skills but the only way he would be of use is if he got himself fit and motivated to play again and to be frank he probably sees fax as a comfortable option to eek out another year at our expense . Scott Grix would be my preference and worth spending some money on.
Conditioning has to remain a focus this close season and that includes those that help out coaching .

I see Guzdek has signed for Sheffield. Which would make you think that QLT won't be going there.....unless he plays at 6 but that seems a waste.

Lots mentioned about the fullback spot but as yet all just talk and rumors.

Guzdek was one who RM rated and had a try for a couple of seasons back so if he wasn't interested this time it would make you think he's either playing JWH, Salty, Sharp there or he has someone lined up.

Along with many others I'm not the best at waiting for signing announcements especially when we are supposed to "well down the road" in that area according to RM.

Agree we have decent cover for fullback but the number 1 first choice needs to be a stellar signing capable of being the 'third halfback' like QLT was particularly as the present incumanant halfbacks seem likely to feature heavilly again next year despite their limitations.

Let's hope RM has learned from last season when, whilst other coaches were aiming for a strong start, he was talking about working our way into the season. Whilst you could say 4th spot justified his approach, one more point would have seen Fax in 2nd place. We need to have the basis of our team signed and ready to go sooner rather than later. Up The Fax!

Fully agree, cover is one thing but we should be trying for someone better in a key position like fullback for very the reasons you state.

I for one will be well peeded off if nothing much changes.
