Agree with that, Fev still have the bulk of a good side and coach, Batley will go well with John Kear (how are they affording this?) and we look a lot stronger with a good coach in Karl now.

Other than Bringing in Kear and Ben Black, the bulk of their signings are youngsters, a few from the league below, couple from wakey's academy, they'll either go really well, or they won't be upto it.

Only 2 options for us , we find somebody wit a spare £150 K per year , or we get our paying attendances past 3,000 , if we dont then we will end up in Championship 1 eventually then things would get reaaly difficult

The KH statement was clearly meant as a figure of speech usually meaning to impose yourselves physically on the opposition, part and parcel of every game played each week and is not promoting violence of any kind outside the rules of the game.

The game is hard enough as it is! I'm not Sam Barlow's greatest admirer (not that he will give a toss either way), but he puts a RL shirt on for our entertainment. I don't like seeing any player get hurt playing the sport I love so much. Any player deserves some appreciation in those circumstances!

Not an acceptable comment on any level and while it,s easy to pretend that this was a joke then the next time you see violence off the field ask yourself if this kind of thing helps.

If the comments attributed to KH are correct then that is even more worrying from a so called pro.

its an opinion and who agrees with it either Fev OR fAX FANS makes no difference to me ..some years ago I saw an 21 yr old suffer a life changing injury that has stayed with him for 40 yrs due to the kind of mentality above. What makes me laugh at the "Get into em" merchants and the rest, I can bet 8 out of ten have never played the game at any level or have the guts to do so.

So the next time anyone is asking someone to "beat em up" ask yourself if it were your son/daughter on or off the field would you feel so smug about it.. I guess not..

Cushy, I played far more union than league - it was easier. The reason I'm currently bored rigid at home with my leg in plaster is directly related to a really bad injury involved in a game in ponty in 1986!
I'm happy to shout "crucify the little b'stard" when Ben Black was running into Tonka as he danced round every other player v Fev.
I'm happy to rip the mick out of sam barlow and urge Stu to "melt him" whenever the opportunity presents.
