Really pleased with the commitment from the lads today, 30 un answered points at one stage from 6 -12 to 36 - 12. Tightened up well in defence after that first quarter and held the line well. Thought Brannigan was outstanding too. Bit disappointed in Halicat for not winning the race....think he has a bit of a belly on him that he needs to lose

Great win today. Must admit when they conceded 12pts in such a small amount of time and the defence was looking shaky , I thought the worse. Brannigan , penky and beswick all controlled the game well , bannister had an excellent match , as did goddard and White . I also think Nash makes a big difference tothedefence and great to see worrincy take his
chance aswell. Well done to all players and coaches . A great end to an interesting week

he was sat at the back of the East Stand with Miles. Nice to see Chezza in the stand as well, let's back off him and move on. He mucked up, so did others, he's been good for us so let's give him some space and get behind him and support him as much as the rest of the squad.

Huge response from 'Fax after the previous week's shenanigans, thought it was going to be the same old story when the good start evaporated, but credit for digging in and getting on top again. Barrow played some good rugby at times, but were made to look very average on other occasions.

Well done today fax, just what we needed, the best game i have watched this season, it had a bit of everything to entertain us!

Nice to see the players group together at the end after what must have been a hard week. The main thing for the club now is to get the attendances back up, get more cashfax, lottery members etc to make some money after the money I'm sure we have lost out on (easier said than done i am sure)

Funny what difference a week makes

I am sure i speak for most when i say that after we went 12 - 6 down with some unfortunately typical poor tackling and bad organization in defence. I was thinking here we go again, but i was proud of our response we grouped together and played as a unit.
Even when they were camped on our line with set after set (cheers Mr Hicks)our defence changed from frail to warrior-like.

When we were in attack we still had a few "brain-farts" and tried things that should not even be done in a computer game. Brannigans ball steal and then trip and pass to penky, who unfortunately just put it down even though he was tackled and when Dylan ( who i thought was excellent) tried to slip the ball at the end when he should have just kept hold. The teams and players response to these errors were brilliant, heads did not go down, nobody blamed each other or had a go. The players responsible held their hands up and made up for it at the next opportunity.

I particularly like it when worrincy dropped the ball from a high kick on our line (i did not like the fact he dropped it) and managed to ground it, Paul White ran from the other side of the pitch to congratulate him for grounding it.

I was so pround of our fans as well the singing was there ( still not enough) and we got right behind the team.

Onwards and upwards now. The mighty ougar bougars next and then "payback"
We need to make sure we are all in the same part of the LSV so we can make some noise.

As supporters thats exactly what we need to do.....every time we make noise it gets remarked on in the courier.....we all know it helps the players immensely...........I couldn't care less who has the most supporters,I'm in the business of being the noisiest.........
I also think that Nash was excellent.
Will we all be behind the sticks at LSV?????Do thet open up the whole ground for us or is that just for the masses of Widnes fans??I always arrive in a taxi anyway.
