Surprised that this happened TBH - he was doing a good job , 2nd successive season in the top 4 - Fev have been solid all season and improved on 2016 - can't be a decision based on team performance - must be something going on behind closed doors?

I think some Fev fans have been very harsh on Sharp, even in the way they reacted to us beating them on Sunday in a game that meant much more to Fax then Fev. I think they have played far better this year than last (I honestly believe they were a fortunate to get in the top 4 last year and was more to do with how badly some other teams played including Fax). And to improve on last year without adding a load of new players and with a part time team for me is down to how he has got the best out of them.

Sounds like other things going on; I would like to think there will be a reaction from the players on Saturday which might do us a favour (PLEASE!), but I can see the opposite happening especially as there were also quite a few battered and bruised bodies at the end of Sunday’s game.

Duffy could be a bit of a gamble but he is a good young coach who will be desperate to succeed and everyone knows how good a job he has done at Swinton.

One thing about former half backs coaching is the Fev attack should come to life.

I think Mark Campbell and his bank balance would question that we didn't add a load of new players - Ulugia, Mariano, Moore, Walton, Knowles, and Carlile were all added this year and they're all players that plenty of other Championship clubs would have wanted.

Pity for you that HKR snapped up the halfback you would probably have got with Duffy.

If he had only paid the going rate for those players then I guess it might have been ok but as it stands with 1 game left Fev are the best part time team in the comp so other than that im not sure what Campbell is expecting. If Fev were to finish behind a Fax team on probably half their budget then its time to start asking questions......

Come Saturday evening we will all know how the new Fev coach has been initially accepted. Well done to Duffy on a makeshift budget for his work at Swinton. I really enjoyed watching their fluid attacking structures.

I would expect the Fev team to really up the effort against Toulouse - I could hear Duffy sat at the back of the stand at Sale - he certainly wasn't coaching quietly and the players will only have one chance to make a first impression.

I think they can turn them over.

Of course Fev can win in Toulouse, the players should always want to win and making the right impression on the new coach should add something.
Cheer up, your on a win win, Fev win, great, Fev lose and Fax are one step closer to the losers comp.

We'll never know but I wonder what the results and league table would have been like if no club had used DR this season.

Well we beat Fev when they had DR and lost when they didn't, so that went in our favour...
