Been looking on the Widnes board and there is no mention whatsoever that they even have a game this week! they dont seem bothered, and why would they be, they have no need to win any more trophies before they go up...
before franshising they would have been discussing the predictions and possible outcome of this game tomorrow, and i dare say would have brought alot more fans than they will too!
the RFL have turned this competition into a meaningless waste of time!
which is exactly why we need to all get behind the protest tomorrow!

I say keep on with the shirt launch and get ALL the CC-CC1 clubs involved.

Quite simply if Fax are on ' standby ' to replace one of the ' Chosen few ' if they dont keep their promises , then the RFL should come out and say so , why the need for ' nudge , nudge , wink , wink ' ?
They are meant to be grown men running a serious proffessional sport , if the actions of a few hundred disgruntled fans means they would deny Fax that promotion , how pathetic are they ?
They need to grow up , stop behaving like a group of giggling schoolgirls telling tales and become the strong leadership this sport needs

I agree with Starbug it`s the RFLs own incompitance that has been shown up here and for all those that said we shouldn`t protest because it will not make any differance they are not bothered about us just shows the opposite.
They most certainly are bothered and if we can get other clubs involved they will not be able to put pressure on all the clubs to bring their fans into line.
We may eventually end up with a much fairer deal any fans from other clubs are most welcome to come along tonight and show your support.

The statement is laughable actually as it shows whoever wrote it knows nothing about why we are making a stand and it is more or less saying that our fans are spiting the dummy out because we didn`t get in Super League.
When in actual fact it has nothing to do with it , it was merely the catalyst . In fact the statement as other people have said reinforces the very issues we are challenging they have no comprehension whatsoever the way ordinary fans feel about what they are doing to our game and that statement shows that. |
