I'm confused now as the 2 statements seem to contradict each other. I currently have Sky and Sky Sports. I have wanted to dump them for years but, up to now, it has been the only way to get my RL fix (apart from going to games of course). If I now dump Sky in it's entirety will I be able to subscribe to and receive Premier Sports or not?

How can you get Premier Sports if you don't have Sky? Or are you really saying you do actually have Sky but do not subscribe to Sky Sports?

You don't have to subscribe to sky, all you need is a dish and a box.

After your first 12 months, you are free to cancel all subscriptions to sky, but keep the box and watch free to air channels and subscription services provided by third parties.

If you don't have sky, go on ebay and buy a second hand box, then get a local aerial company to come and put a dish up for you.

If Premier Sports is like Setanta (washes my mouth out and spits) then you should be able to get it through a type of freeview box where you can pay for extra channels through a top-up card. I may be wrong, though.

Yeh, but once the contract expires you can still use the box to decode free to air channels, there's also a card sky sell that gives you a few extra I think

Therefore I haven't got a sky dish,
I don't know what a decoder is,
Therefore to get Premier sports should I buy a Television?

ive had sky in the past, but cancelled all paying channels about 6 months ago,so basicly i am using my sky box as a freeview box, just geting free channels,so all i did was subscribe to premier sports for £7.99 a month,,u dont need to be signed up to sky to get premier eventho u use the sky card,

I did this aswell but Sky won't let you use the record facility unless you pay £10 a month for the pleasure, so can be a problem unless anyone knows a way around it or what to buy in terms of satelitte box.
Must say the NRL coverage has been great since I started watching in August and can't wait for a full season with NRL and Championship.

Kryptview for cable but no premier sports, dreamview etc for sky but you need a subscription roughly 50.00 for year for all channels an hd

I'm a sky subscriber & premier sports channel has been available as a freeview all this weekend.

No good telling us at 5 on a Sunday. I was keen to have a look at some rugby as the last time it was on freeview the quality of the picture on an Aussie game was dreadful. I would like to see if this has improved before I buy.

Can anyone comment on the quality of the picture of the Aussie games? The last time I viewed it (on freeview) it was very poor.
