Radio Rhinos said both games televised with the Sunday game being played at lunchtime. First I'd heard of that.

Premier Sports website gives their live games , TBA at the moment. One Sunday game on the 16th in there at 1:30pm

Next Sunday on premier sports at lunchtime there's live hurling and I don't mean fax throwing the ball about !!!

They've got that wrong - that's the week after when they are showing both games, one on Thursday and one on Sunday

Probably put Fev v Leigh on Thursday and then the losers the following Thurs giving them an advantage of 3 days more rest then whoever plays on Sunday.

They will definitely put Fev v Leigh on Thursday, albeit a week on Thursday

The players are commenting that we are the televised game on Thursday night, so I guess I'll be asking for time off work again.

Got a phone call from Premier TV TONIGHT. Apparently they were going with Sheffield but because Sheffield cannot get their ground on Thursday they have decided to go with us, subject to RFL approval tomorrow.

So it looks like Thursday night will be Fax v Keighley kO 7.30PM

A shambles if a semi-pro club can't organise a home game (LOL)
Fax on Thursday is fab for me (I can go!), and no detriment to either team (plus greater recovery for next game, whoever wins).

How hacked off are Salford right now? Sky effectively forcing them to move their final home game to Leigh

But Thursday is better for us before the next game.

It's a great theory, but we gave Leigh three extra days rest last year and still went there and beat them.

Think they are a different proposition this year.

You certainly did and the Sheffield 7 enjoyed their victory immensely.

You can't get 7 in a taxi.

They still made week 3 but the point I was making was that there was much talk of the winner of our week 2 game being at a diusadvantage in week 3. At the time, I would have agreed but it proved not to be the case.
