Very disappointed. It would be nice for Fax to have a bit of good luck in the draw for once. Getting some money in at home against a big SL club helps the clubs coffers and maybe even get a loan player(s) in as a result to strengthen the squad etc.
Not to be with this draw I'm afraid.
I suppose the winners will be hoping to get this type of draw in the next round.

absolutely poxy draw - the worst possible

We ought to keep bringing through the young guns, use it that way, if fev cant play their best side we could still yet get a trip to headingley, or get Leeds or Wigan at home in the next round.
It's an opportunity to do some marketing and perhaps get a few stay away parents to bring the kids back to the club and see some stars playing, if we can pull it off.

By no means the worst draw. Yes, could have been significantly better, but this is a tie that will still attract a fairly decent gate to split (more than 2/3 of the super league gates probably) and also represents a fairly decent chance for us to progress to the quarters for the first time in many a year. We would then be extremely unlucky to not land a great tie. DR wise, they only had Aston in on Sunday and not sure of he is on loan for the year or DR....

A draw against a SL team would have generated more revenue for the club, but what are you guys on? This is a cracking tie for us supporters in terms of a tough cup game (for both teams) that could go either way. It should be a cracking game to watch. Would obviously have been better if we'd been drawn at home.

Last time i missed Fev away to watch a Town playoff game we put 60 on em.

Should be a good game, shame it wasn't at home - the reward for the club is in the next round - it will be interesting to know what Fev's strongest team will be - did they have a few DR players on show at the Shay in the last match?

Our record against Fev home and away suggests that getting them away might be a better draw than at home.

Its winnable but if we lose we miss out on possibly a more lucrative tie against one of the big guns.

We have not beat them at home for ages so away is the best bet. But no dual reg and yes in the league game two played against us then appeared in the leeds squad the week after

I'm confused.... is DR bad again this week?

DR is a joke when a club like Fev who were in the top 4 last year and look like they will be again this year are relying on it! This a club in the second tier of RL (like the Championship in footy) and from a heartland RL area who should be able to produce their own players and not rely on DR but you have used it to your advantage.
This system makes a mockery of the game as one week you have players X, Y and Z in your team then the week after you may have none yet your opposition have to set themselves up to play against a team they have no idea who is in it (from the DR side anyway) so one week you may have a stronger team than the week after, its wrong end of story. As for us we have no choice but to go with the flow as DR cost us in games at home against you in both 2015 (Wakey players) and 2016 (Leeds players) when we had none.

Thursday night means that I won't be able to get there unfortunately, but at least I can still watch the match on TV.
