Glad to get Jacob back a very hard working player who never let us down when he played for us before, I would rather have him than Adamson.

RM was quoted as saying he was in no rush and wanted to give the lads who were here a chance to show what they could do.

That fits in with a proven quality loan signing while the team settles down to business.

Sound thinking to me and it ticks a number of boxes in good man management, fair play to current squad with options to add should the need arise and the right player comes available.

The number of players that seemingly become available at this time of the season suggests to me that those that get all their business done too soon arent always the smartest. Save a little brass and see what happens.

That's not the sort of attitude i would welcome as a coach unless he was misquoted.
May explain his omission last sunday.

The honesty is refreshing. A young english player that has the talent is not getting a look in at a SL club. Happens far too often. He is here to prove a point, not to settle for part time rugby. I respect that entirely.

Always two ways at looking at things i suppose.Just hope he takes his frustration
out on our opponents shortly.

If I wanted to prove how good I was then rather settle for 2nd team rugby at a SL club for year after year I would take a drop in wages and find a club that I could get in the first team and make a point of proving I was good enough to play at that level.

Been 24 and not making the breakthrough at SL level Im really not sure I would just be sitting in a 2nd team whining about how I should be in the first team. Maybe his statement that basically says he should walk straight in to our first team is one of the reasons that he didnt?

Exactly. I expect a stormer from him against Batley on Sunday.
