I ain't seen any replays either but suspect that your sport on MM. I still think if that Ashall had stayed on Fax would have won last week, for me your best player on the day.

We had a couple of players who had teeth knocked out last season without action against the player involved. Stuff happens, if there was a headbut then it will probably be a 3 match ban, as for the others (both teams), it will depend on their past record which smacks of punishing players twice to me.
Not sure the result would have been different, it's all ifs and buts. The main thing is that both teams will be in the knock out stages and could well meet again and that should attract a massive crowd after last Sunday's game

My fear ( in the case of the Fax players ) is that retaliation is treat more harshly than the aggressor !

The standards of match officials is crap across the the Pro game. We have Refs who are afraid to make a decision without the Vid Ref. We have others who think they should be the main thing in the game- Yes you Gansen and Silverwood!We sadly get young Refs shoved through who have next to no experience and struggle. But the problem is not with the Refs and Linemen. The problem is Stuart Cummins who refuses to admit that the standards should be better and is as arrogant now as he was when he Reffed. The Disciplinary also needs to realize is Rugby League is a hard sport where passions run high sometimes. It would be good if a little bit of common sense was used. I dont know how 5 people have neen told to go to the disciplinary. The maximun would be 2 people. The alleges headbutt and the player who responded. Fans like to see a bit of viff on the field and as long as its within reason then I dont see whast the problem is.

Hang on, they can't do that - we've (Leigh) got two up before the Disciplinary too and we're at Fev next week! Ban the Fev three and let ours off - that's what I say!!

Ashall, Dickens, Bostock and Haley all entered guilty pleas which have been accepted and were handed 1 game, 2 games, 1 game and No further action respectively!

Dane cant enter a guilty plea as he was sent off for Batley last season. You can only take an early plea if you haven't been sent off in 12 months.

RFL are a set of idiots. Might as well call Rugby League "touch rugby league" now. Had this been Leeds, St.Helens or Wigan nobody would have been banned!

So the RFL are making an example of us and Fev. Nothing we can do about it. A few bans handed out in SL already this season. Some for blatant dirty play (Chris Bridge) and some debatable tackles (Sam Moa). Part and parcel of sport I'm afraid.

Chance to see Rettie at 2nd Row maybe, White n Worrincy wing... good to see how the squad and Harrison copes as Ashall and Manning have certainly been two stand out players so far.

IMO, apart from Dickens this should never have gone to disciplinary, Rhino had it spot on, it's RL for goodness sake. I've watched the DVD a couple of times (the last 10 mins about 100 times) and he leads with his head and has rightly got his "reward". The others just let of a bit of steam in a tense encounter. See you all again soon i'm sure. If it all goes to plan we'll be on first name terms by the end of the season. Mind you if we play dumb rugby like we did against Batley i wouldn't be so sure.

P.S. thought Rettie and Ashall had blinders against us.
