It was a great effort by Fax at London who have a distinct advantage on that artificial pitch of theirs. Only team to beat Toronto this year ……………. London on that pitch, and they racked up nearly 50.

I'm not saying that Toulouse "will not want to win" against Fax, of course they will, but it's not a "must win" game for them like it is for us. They could lose but still wrap up 2nd at home against Dewsbury. What I'm saying is when it gets to the last 20 mins and there might be only one score in it, Fax will most likely be playing as though their lives depend on winning, but Toulouse won't. Very much like the end of last season when we took advantage of Fev's and Hull KR's "lack of urgency". Still a very tough match tho'!!!

Having just watched a video of the ghost 'try' v Toulouse last year it presses home the need for decent officials. That was never a try and cost us two points as did the try from the forward pass at London. In both cases the linesman/ref were in perfect positions to see the action! We must also be wary of that big long half-back, Ford I think. He's a class act and will need watching but so will ours! Up The Fax! The Pressed Shuttle, Pudsey. Leeds Solstice 3.5% Mmm!

Some of the tries Barrow conceded were "appalling". Let's hope that weak "preparation" has done Toulouse no favours.

We need to start well and score first, too much of this chasing the game, we get in front and our defence turns up the pressure I think we will bring the win home. Slow start and we could be done for.

And 2 really poor decisions by the Ref 1st half grady pulled back going for the ball @ 2nd half London player dropped a high kick ball picked by a player in an offside position not saying they cost us the game but a so called top official should not be making errors like that

If we can keep Ford aka Gaskell quiet and also their fullback Mark Kheirallah we will have a good chance. Kicking game got to be better so hopefully Murrell on form. The officials will favor on the side of Toulouse so any 50 50 likely to go their way. Going for a close win.

Refs might make mistakes, and they're only human and some players might rub them up the wrong way, but they don't "favour" any teams. It's possible that they're sometimes swayed by the crowd to think about offsides etc., but that obviously won't apply to TO tomorrow.

We need a fast start to both halves, but discipline will win this for us both with and without the ball. No silly penalties, and high completion rate so we can control the game.

Very little in the 2 sides, so it will be a very close game, I'm going for a Fax win, Fax 28 v Toulouse 26,though I'm hoping for a Toulouse win,you can't always get what you want,

Struggling to call this one . Ford causes teams problems and we need to watch him and runners either side of him. Think the crowd might just win this one for us. The players will need their game heads well and truly on for this one-watching numbers will be very important . Disappointed Williams got in last week because we knew before the match he's the go to man . Probably need something in team selection to unsettle their preparations theorise they have the last 2 videos to work on and no surprises.

Toulouse's star forward Rhys Curran has been suspended for 4 matches and I understand that will include the Fax match.

Just need Kheirallah and Ford to bump into one another in the warm up, nothing too serious, just enough to rule them out for a couple of days or even a couple of hours.

he's not in their squad while we run with same 19.Fleming missed the cut last week,not sure that was a good call but expect him in on Sunday.

Agreed, JWH's defence for London's 2nd try last week wasn't the best to say the least. I always feel as we're going to score when Heaton is involved. Up The Fax!

LS28 are good with posters and banners, maybe they could make some dummy road signs and divert the Toulouse team coach up the M1 / A1.

Yes probably. All I want Flemming to do is accelerate into the impact area not do a Gavin Benion and slow down . He has everything else going for him in terms of size and skill sets

Anyway, back to today's game. Really bricking it now. Not only do we need to avoid the dreaded Shield games, but also hope we've not budgeted to finish in the top 4 just in case we don't make it. However, I've every confidence in the lads, give it your best shot. Hopefully Toronto, Toulouse and London will get promoted, and Leeds, Hull KR and Widnes will come down. Together with York and Bradford getting promoted from League 1, then next season the leagues could look like this .....
