Fax are not subjected to any special treatment by Fev fans, I've heard complaints from plenty of other fans at different clubs, if Rugby League is a family, they seem like the teenage family member who needs to grow up, drink less or get a girlfriend.

However, they would never stop me watching Fax, its hardly Galatasaray vs Fenerbache, but I doubt fans of our era will ever be able to forget what happened to one of our own after the GF.

Having said that, the club is run very well in rugby terms, and they are doing well on the field, which is currently better than us, but we can beat them. They always seem to beat us by making less mistakes and being more disciplined. Hardman is rock solid at the back, and Thackeray leads them round with simple guile and experience.

Our defence will be key, no silly penalties, and nick what we can near their line.

Make the trip Fax fans, if the Hull KR result goes well it could be a day to remember. I would go but family illness means my priorities must be within a HX postcode on Sunday.

Yes, if we bring our best game and cut out the errors to a normal degree then Fax by say 6 to 8 points.
Anything less will result in less and a Fev win by 14 to 18 points.
On the one hand the lads will be desperate for the 2 points and will bust a gut today but there are a few carrying knocks.
On the other hand.
Rovers are in a rich vein of form, with good individual players who are playing well as a unit and virtually injury free and will know exactly what's expected of them.
Jon Sharp is the coach of the year for me and there will be no letting up, they want to hit the playoffs running.

Indeed it does, goes to the wire to see who goes to the Wire. A number of brain farts earlier in the season which if we'd sorted would now have us firmly in third place not in the sudden death game.

If we do get i the top four then at least the last couple of weeks will have got us battle ready for some mor intense games. Well done to the lads for turning this round after the Swinton game, keep up the great work.

Was fantastic and great atmosphere behind both sticks particularly second half.Can't ever remember a game where we haven't dropped the ball once before victory was assured.

Not sure how many away fans will be at Catalans or possibly Toulouse given the short term timing of the fixtures, this is one area the whole 8's thing falls down.

And it's why it won't last much longer. It's not just the foreign trips, attendances are generally poorer in August and September. Although one has to bear in mind that some folk are on holiday in August.

And the RFL will expect a big gate for a French derby but everyone in France will also be on holiday.
