Ian it might be good news that you have heard Fax are going to sign 2 quality players for next year, or even a few more but that has little bearing on what we saw today, those who are here now need to have a look at themselves and give us something to support.

It's concerning how a team who only a couple of weeks ago had it in their own hands to finish the season on a high can ship in 171 points, with 113 of them at home in a total of 4 games.

Next week will be no better with Murrell not finishing the game and Gaz Moore + Ben Kaye taking heavy knocks.

Obviously I wasn't at the Shay today so I can't comment on the Fax performance,I was at a few this season though and the Fax team that beat Fev at Blackpool was unreconisable to the Fax team that lost to Fev a couple of weeks ago,the spirit ,confidence, and cameraderie seems to have vanished.
I know it is hard to watch being a Fax fan,I don't think RM is your problem ,he isn't missing the tackles,and not making the breaks,and if as you say key men took knocks and could be missing next week,it won't get easier,I said at the beginning of the season I didn't think you has recruited enough quality players,and predicted a 7th spot finish, I wasn't far out,there is a light at the end of the Tunnel, keep the faith, I know it's easy for me to say,but guys like you and the Fax faithful are the Club's lifeblood.

Well before game in East Stand for pre-match build up we got told "we can lose 5/7 of these games and still make semi finals" what kind of mentality is that to have? Do you think they've done that kind of maths at Bradford?? I doubt it...1200 there , scoreboards gone , flat and abject on the pitch - bet those watching for the Bulls yesterday weren't quaking in their boots at the thought of playing us next week!!

Personally, I thought Fax were going to come back into it and then they didn't complete a set in the last 20 mins - apart from a penalty.

The club say 1202 attendance, I assume they are now counting the seats in between people as well, there looked a lot less than that on Sunday.

They include ST holders as well. I'm on hols at the moment (so not there, but still count as one of the crowd).

Sounds like we're lacking in motivation and commitment at key times. We got back within 8 yesterday, similar against London, but then caved in when the first thing didn't go for us. I can't justify paying the Bulls prices next weekend to see us (probably) get tonked this time round.

To be fair its difficult to get up for a game after the disappointment of missing out on top 4. Wont be attending any of the games myself. Games are meaningless and too expensive.

What do you want?A Circus?I know Fax have already signed 2 quality players for next season which will be announced soon,it's hard to do this with Clubs still playing.Look at Leigh for instance,Liam Kay announces he has signed for the Toronto Wolfpack for next season,and probably won't play for Leigh again now,it can disrupt Teams.Enjoy the games Fax have left and try drinking Draught Horlicks or Complain, it will help.

Personally i detest the fact that players are allowed to negotiate next season before this season is over,it can massively hinder clubs aspirations eg Liam Kay case.In our position now we need a boost so i wouldn't be bothered if Charlie spills the beans.

Maybe playing devils advocate here.but if we invested better in the first team.we could set up a reserve team next year.i know we can not predict wha.t could happen but there is no point investing in a reserve team who only play a few games.we could have extra money if and should have made top 4.and a reserve team this year as more teams are looking at that,imo.

I don't know why we don't talk about it, disruption to the team, are you F in kidding me, the pigeons were disrupting the team on Sunday. The fact is the players who are staying and who are going will already know and negotiating elsewhere, so disruption is there anyway. Yes every others website is talking about next season.the dinosaurs on here don't want to say anything.its a fans forum and the most boring of them all.

In the context of Rugby League you can talk about almost anything you like on here, its not the club forum but as some regulars will testify, it has been slowly dying for one reason or another for quite some time now.

So to start the ball rolling who do we want to see signed? Id like a fullback to free Johnston to half back preferably with Moore. Id move Murrell to hooker. Realistically Im not sure we will go for a fullback as we have Salty that can play there and If we signed someone like Danny Craven it gives us options in both positions. Id stick with what we have on the wings although Id have Worrincy back but then again I always were a fan of his. Im not sure theres any better quality available than what we have at the moment. We need a good centre to put pressure on Tyrer and Heaton for mine as both have been pretty average for most of the season and we know they can do a lot better.

In the pack we need some aggression, Mitch has not kicked on and our pack almost seems too nice. I think we need a snarling angry prop but again these are in short supply. Id be amazed if R Moore stayed after the carry on earlier and theres usually no smoke without fire so Im not sure how we go about replacing someone like that with better, that said the last few games he has looked a shadow of his former self. In Manning, Tangata, Grix, and Fairbank we are good in the back row. Sarsfield was asking a lot of money by the sounds of it and again despite early good form did not look good enough to justify paying him and playing him instead of the ones I mentioned. Im happy with B moore, Murrell, and Kaye to play hooker as the game at this level is not officiated well enough to justify a quick player getting out of dummy half but not been able to defend well enough.

I think we could get away with signing 3 real quality players but personally I think it would be great to bring in 5 good players and still keep the nucleus of a pretty good team.

Talking of the fullback position, does anyone know whats become of Miles Greenwood?
