With the fact that barrow had the budget to bring over 3 Fijians I'm not sure that this is totally out of the question. I've no reason to believe that we are in competition for his signature but I would be happy to see him in the blue and white provided Matt and Martin are confident that his attitude is right. I think it's unlikely that he will sign for us but with the exception of Govin we don't have a specialist no.6 so who knows/

Wouldn't want him at The Shay, I was told by an ex warrington player who still has connections that Briers runs the dressing room, and is the main problem at Warrington, a story that has been around for a while.

Perhaps years ago when there was talk of a possible swap with Dunneman it may have been a decent Idea, but if it happened now I wouldnt be too pleased.

I wouldn't mind. Dunneman has done nothing for this club over the last 5 years. I think it would be a great swap

I personally would not want to see him at Fax - too much of a bad apple off the rugby field and could have a terrible effect on the team spirit.

Too many stories about him being a trouble causer in the dressing room and too many about his off field antics. Theres's no dount on his day he's an excellent player, but i'd rather not bother.

don't want him at Fax no way .Didn't want Holroyd back,will give him credit for what he did for us but i still don't like the bloke.Briers comes over as someone who thinks he is better than he is,we don't need a player like that,we have a TEAM who play for the shirt and each other.There is no I in team and that is how we want it to stay

Id love to see Briers playing the rest of the season with us - could be a great pairing with Black - might be a problem withing the dressing room, but it would be up to Calland to make sure it doesnt happen - i would also think that we have strong enough senior players not to let this happen.

How did this go from Barrow being a possible club for Lee Briers to us wanting to sign him.

Look I only said that he was linked with Barrow and wondered if it would be good if Fax tryed to get him, in no way as it been mentioned that he is linked with us so calm down.

i havent seen briers do anything special that we could need him for. we have good enough players to beat widnes so i dont think we need him.

govin has done a great job at kicking this season he has been consistent with it lately as well.

let him go to barrow but not till after we have played them next week.

IF we did try to sign him I think he would be a good addition to the squad and he would be a very good player at this level.
