I see plenty of confidence - can you point out where anyone is being 'over confident. We're top of the league - again. SHOULD go on and win the league, we are in the 23's final, the NRC final, champs of europe (ok I know that's a daft one but stick with me), we beat cas and gave wiggin a game, we got to the 9's final beating SL teams along the way and we've lost only 5 league games in almost 3 years. Now then me owd cockle-doodle-do, can you explain why I shouldn't be permitted a little confidence given those stats?

Daryl and team will run through what they have to and work to a game plan to beat fax. I don't expect anything else.

I think Ellis will be a bigger loss to them than Divorty is to us. Having watched Ellis in the game down the Shay this season, he really got their pack on the front foot and IMO was the most dangerous player on the night on either team, however they have quality all over the park so I'm sure they will compensate and DP will plan their game to who they have available. The key for me is the Fax pack have to get us on the front foot so Penky can cause problems, if not he goes from one of our most creative players to just the guy passing from acting half. If the pack stand up I can see this being a very good game, otherwise it will be a Fev win for me.

I, personally, think that Manning is as good as Divorty. But, like Fev, we'll have to play with what we've got got and try and match our opponents all over the field. However, will will have to match their line speed and work on marker tackling. Wrenchy was the best at marker defence I've seen for years and we haven't found someone as accomplished since his retirement. TBH, at times it is non-existent. One thing I'm sure we all will agree on is that it's going to be cracking final! Hoping to catch up with an old Fev mate, Chris Taylor, for a beer and some banter before the game as well.

It's not Ellis I'd have been worried about. For me we need to stop Andy Kain..the lad is on fire at the moment. Surely he's got to have a bad game soon...please let that be Sunday!

Why do we think ellis isn't playing? I can't find any report about him returning to Wakey apart from fev fans!!

i think Ellis is quality, and im glad he cant play on Sunday. As for your confidence, you are right, it is well justified. You are the best team in the league, and have been now consistantly for afew years.

i said 'apparant' over confidence. I dont go on the other site, so i have not seen it with my own eyes, i am only going off other Fax fans pointing this out.

Printing champions on your 2010 merchandise could come accross as over confidence though, but hey, we've all forgotton about that now eh!

TS - I think your spot on, in fact I'd go as far as saying I think that manning is probably a better 2nd rower that DIvo, however Divo is better suited to going into the front row if circumstances required it.

For me Elis is a bigger loss for Fev, however he has only played 7 games for us (with 6 of those being from the bench) out of 24 games this year, so I suspect we'll have enough in the team to manage without him.

Yes but if you read my post i did say after the whistle, now no way would i be leaping for joy after the whistle with golden point. Not a chance in Helll been watching Rovers since early 70s and seen us blow dozens of big games
