There were a few crazy rumours flying about before kick off about certain people leaving and now in todays Rugby papers it appears there may be an element of truth in it. Apparently there may be two major depatutrs this week. Now with most of our top players signed up can we assume it's a couple of them or maybe someone higher up? I can't imagine it will be a cost cutting measure after only this week signing Stanley Gene so there must be some other reason.

Hope it's not Hall and Clay, both would be massive losses. Although until anything is confirmed I won't lose any sleep either.

Wll Dave Larder and Worrincy were both in the Courier this week and Dave was saying he'd wait until the end of the season to see what happens, but I think he was referring to hanging up his boots rather than moving on.

Worrincy was saying he's playing for a Contract, so I can't see it being either of these.

I think it's time to scrap the "Super League Offer", get out clause that I believe all contracts must have written into them. Then clubs can rest easy when we have somebody signed up.

if some of our contracted players do go to super eague clubs then so be it!

theyl have to pay for them ,big money i would imagine!

whoever starts the season in a fax shirt im sure theyl be more than capable of achieving success....and to me the squad looks as if its gonna be stronger than this year.

Well i spoke to Rob Worrincy an hour ago in the Ivy House and he said he`s "going nowhere" ....we will see!

It says in League Weekly to expect an announcement this week. Hope it's just a couple of the players we havnt signed because it would be a shock to lose anyone that already has. On the plus side league weekly has a few things wrong this week.

I think Larder,Govin,Wrench,Bannister, Worrincey and Cherryholme should all be offered contracts

Do not think Cherryholme is good enough. Silly offloads and gives silly penalties away and is not that good at making metres.

Really felt for Frank yesterday, played all day and dropped for the final, tough call on the guy really.

I think we need to sign a centre and a prop

Agreed, all can offer something for the future be it short or long term. Rob and Neil are obviously a working progress but the effort and attitude is evident in both of them. Larder and Wrenchy obviously short term and Govin if he can stay fit is a great player on his day and very handy to have in the squad IMO.

Think he just needs time, he`s only a kid at 22 and might just need a bit more experience and game time.

Sam Barlow? I mentioned him a couple of months back, he was at the game yesterday wearing a fax shirt and when Sheffield don't have a game he's generally always there watching us.

would be a good signing IMO, him and Maloney could be the 2 young guns at prop to compliment Thamghart, Aizue and Frank.
