Both Wakefield and Huddersfield are chasing Bob Beswick are in form Loose forward/Hooker.Yesterday i was reliably informed he is being targeted,i don,t know if BB is on a two year contract or just the 12mths one like many others at the club.The club are in talks with several players and just hope BB is one of them.Over the past 6 games i believe he,s been outstanding and we need to keep players like him.

It is all rumours as no club can approach a player under contract this season until monday 1st june. Anything else would be against the rules.

never heard so much waffle about transfers!! 99% of the fax team will be there next year bar the dead wood! i.e wilson,barker,cherryholme!!

all of the players you have suggested in the dead wood section are actually good players. wilson has gone well for most of the season barker has got tries and done every thing asked of him and cherryholme has played well when he has come into the side.

99% of a 21 or 22 man squad which includes Hemmingway & James who are on loan from the GOD league, I was never reet good at sums but I can't get this one to add up, or should it be divide ?

Hope your right. Wakey and Hudds both have good records og giving english players from the lower leagues a chance though.

BB must have had numerous chances to play super league when he was at Widnes (was there not talk of Leeds coming in for him) but he seems to have declined their offers.

As for Hudds signing him that is very doubtful, they already have 4 hookers and an abundance of forwards

I wouldn't show anyone the door. There may have been some under performers (that's not pointing fingers or having a go by the way) but everyone is improving and the effort is quite clearly there. The only advantage Barrow/Widnes have is they can afford to strengthen anywhere should they succumb to injuries (yes I'm jealous before anyone starts

Think moores on a season loan from saints so may not be there next year. If Hemmingways out of contract at the end of the season he'l be gone.

Very good player could do a job in sl and would be happy if cas sign him, if we dont though i would hope he stays with you.

Wakey - Drew, Obst, Leo-Latu, Blake

I think both teams are pretty much covered in the hooking roles there to be honest!

Lunt and Blake are still very young and have a lot of potential, whilst Drew Obst and Faiumu are experienced and very good Super league players.

I don't think Bob's best position is Loose Forward either, so worry off, thread closed!
