Not sure how many of you have been following but I sense we have a REAL chance of landing Jarrod Sammut who is courting a few northern clubs as he lives in Cleck.

FAX1(LS2icon_cool.gif are trying to stoke up the option but having snared QLT this could be a bit too soon. The reality is this marquee signing could truly be the difference between having a very very good team and a PROMOTION winning team.

Time to roll the dice...

Would be epic but we see so many teams going bust whilst chasing the dream, I would hate for us to take that risk.

Mick , I think Sammut would enhance any Championship team, I don't think he's SL material though, rumours are we at Leigh are interested but , I've heard our halves next year will be Riddy already confirmed , and another prodigal returning , I hope the rumours are right.
I would be happy to just compete next season, anything better would be a bonus, we meet Fax early next season, so hopefully I will see you soon.Till then have a good Christmas, and take care.

Strong rumour of us signing him at start of close season never materialised and we've bought elsewhere now.Bringing him in now seems a bit of overkill in halves and Larroyer could be the right option now.

Hard to judge currently because we have currently 2 unknown factors Ie black and the young Leeds lad . Only the coaches and the players will currently have an idea on how that might work . Summit is good but for me he is somewhat inconsistent in the games I have watched him. I always have him down as more of an individual player rather than a team man . I think for me it's leave the cash in a bank time if another opportunity pops up.

Sammut will only sign if the Halifax Coach wants him. I believe Marshall doesn't want him. The club have a £400,000 player budget.

450k is apparently the player budget plus anything extra from ls28 . Which I think is a very credible figure for the club . Well done. Having thought about samut it's a no thanks from me . We have a good squad now and a reserve set up . Time to deliver with what is available .

Cant see us going for Sammut. Just don't see where he would fit in, not to mention his wage demands, which would be fairly substantial. I think Marshall will go with what he has and develop the younger players.
Would love to have him at Fax. He has that x factor and when we played London in 8's was probably difference between two sides. That offload that led to a try was class. Hopefully Larroyer is signing but think the club were a bit quick in announcing that one until he signed on dotted line.

Should have been a no brainer for us to try and sign him. We pretty much go in to next season with the same players in key positions and as a team wanting to score more points thats probably not ideal.

As you know he will be the number one number 1, might take the dryer grounds before he can show his x factor though.

Hit the ground running is absolutely the thing that needs to be made clear to everyone at Fax. Last season it seemed to be, according to RM, a case of working our way into the season. This time if we can get off to a good start we have the squad to have a real tilt at top spot especially with a good run in at the end of the season. Up The Fax!

Sammut signed for Wigan on 2 year contract.

Full Back I would guess baring Marshall trying everyone else there. My halves would have been Murrell And Sammut.
