I would have thought we'd have played Fev. Given that London (Harlequins) always used to play Catalan Dragons, I'd have thought the RFL would have done similar and put the Bronco's and Toulouse together.

Will be lucky if more than a couple of thousand fans turn up on Sunday. With respect Swinton, Sheffield and Toulouse are not going to bring many fans at all. Toulouse and Sheffield fans could all fit in a Mini! Hardly a great Fixture that makes Fax fans want to go and watch. Batley and Dewsbury hopefully will draw some fans in. You could play the Sunday fixtures at Siddal for the amount of people who will turn up.
Hull KR in Blackpool on Saturday Night? Bet Bradford fans will love that! Fev v London? Another big crowd. Fax and Fev given the crap Fixtures. Surely Fax should be playing Bradford and Fev v Hull KR with London playing Toulouse as all the others are more or less derbies or playing teams not too far away.

Will be lowest ever crowd with this fixture list.

I'll be in Fax watching it in a pub probably.

Just can't get myself up for this season. Been supporting 30 years and losing interest in the game in general to be fair.

Would rather have the chance of 2 points which could be vital for a top 4 finish. Top 4 this year would probably solve the financial crisis. Would much rather have a winnable game than get thrashed by Hull Kr

A fully fit and raring to go Simon Grix will be like a marquee player. Im really not sure who people think are available to sign and in our budget.

Totally agree, we get him on, and keep him on the pitch he will be a great asset, might even sort out the centre issue that is big on people's horizon.

Garbage tie one that could be hard work as they could be difficult opposition and no excitement as they'll have no fans. Part of the bash for me is having a good craic with your opposition fans!!!

Very defensive guys aren't we. Sure we need replacement forwards but forgive me if I contain my excitement until we sign a defense-splitting playmaker.

Assuming Robinson,Murrell,Moore and Johnson are all on contract and don't leave i can't see there being any budget for anyone else im afraid.

Then we need to get the configuration right 6,7,9 and 13 try get some continuity IMO and that needs to include Johnno as a regular starter.

Problem is Marshall an ex forward hasn't a clue and the call for assistance from a former halfback is a good one IMO.

Im not sure that type of player is available as they seem to be in very short supply throughout the game and if talk of Sammut/Craven wanting over 50K then you have to wonder where the money would come from especially given both those players are probably only slightly above average Championship players. I cant see it even been a case of a "marquee" player putting bums on seats because who at this level would do that? Our options are either players who are dropping down from SL or trying to find hidden gems from SL teams reserves.

Even more problems. If you do manage to get around visa problems and thats a big if you then have to sort out accommodation etc which can mean you paying out more money for a worse player than you coud have got at a cheaper price over here.

That's very true and if we don't ever try we'll never unearth a new Hagan or Ryan or Bella, so sometimes it's nice to have a go. Or not bother and tread water or sink.
