Well, I will be back in town in time for this game so barring any unforeseen disasters (like a HKR player on the team sheet) I will be there. Let's see if I can keep my run going of Fax not having lost a game that I have attended, since I moved to Aus ten years ago. Last time I was in town we put 60 past Leigh, but I will go for a more modest 34 : 20 win this time. Might even make an appearance in the Three Pigeons

Time to see where we really are at. If Leigh concentrate on rugby and nothing else it could be a difficult day at the office. If they start niggling and we have some strong officials then who knows?

Fascinating game this.
Both games last year could have gone either way.
Leigh are stronger now both on the team sheet and mentally having been there and done it, confidence backed up by real ability is written all over them.
Fax are stronger on the team sheet and won't lack for a positive mind set but it's not at the same level as Leigh with Fax being a new team with a new coach.
Anything could happen and I am swinging back and forwards from a great day for us and Fax by 10, to Leigh putting on a show and winning by 18.
I just hope there is a good crowd, the game is a cracker that does rugby league and both clubs proud.
Can't wait and whatever happens I going to enjoy it.

Can't see anything but a Leigh victory. Think it will be close up to the start of the second half but then they'll break free in the last 40. Who is the referee?

I'm thinking this game may come too early for our relatively new team against a pretty stable set of Lobby gobblers so am predicting an 18-22 point victory for Leigh but hope I am wrong. Hoping to get to the game on my lunch break but may have to sadly miss out.

A good friend of mine has just told me that the pitch is in an awful state.
FC Wendyball play the day before (I think) but that won't affect the pitch as the ball never touches the floor, however will a heavy pitch favour us?
