Great news as Tommy has been one of our better performers and he seems to be enjoying his game at the moment so it's good for both parties.

As in another post I heard it on Sunday at Keighley from a good source so it might not be that bad regarding Fev's treatment of him, the recall was just for protocol.

Its been common knowledge on this board that Saxton was coming back next season and a good chance he were here for the rest of the season so it was quite a surprise when Fev were making out they were recalling him which got their fans excited when the player had his heart set on staying at Fax.

Not sure on the Fev lads but at the Keighley game I was stood next to the family of a Fax player who was on the pitch.

I don't like saying directly who it was but.

Me and the wife were speaking to them and said it's a shame Tommy is going back to Rovers.

They said he wasn't, their own had come back from training the other night and said it had been sorted and Tommy would be staying at Fax.

I believe Fax were told that if we played him in the cup Fev would recall him. We played him and Fev recalled him, and now they don't want him (if it's true) simple?

Rovers have just signed Ben Blackmore from Huddersfield, he has been out on loan at Batley so maybe that has something to do with it.

Luckily not. KH told the lads that he could still do a better job than Hirst and we wouldnt be signing him just more dirty tricks by Fev trying to unsettle players and other teams.

I also heard that Fev were supposed to be paying most of Saxton's wage for the past couple of months but have not paid him so Fax have covered it and Fev have promised the money. Thats pretty low down to treat a player who has served them so well like that.
