I like it - refreshing change. I know folk love the hoops but there is only so much you can do with blue n white hoops.

Better than 2011 refresh shirt - yuk!

I like that shirt will probably get one.

I will be getting it as have put names on but Fax home shirts should be blue and white hoops.

How many variations of blue and white hoops can you do?

I like it and will be buying one. However, if the names are just stuck to the bottom of the shirt again i will not be buying one. I like the design but the names just put me off.

Maybe the club should produce some shirts without the names on but charge say £5 extra for them

Apparently the names will be on the back. I'll have to wait and see, i understand its a good idea but i think they will lose more sales than gain if they do the name thing year on year.

Hopefully i will be proven wrong, based on the front of the shirt, i really like it. Its a lot better than last years. One more thing - the players shirts did not have collars but the fans shirt did? i preferred it without a collar so hopefully the shirts sold will be to the same spec as the ones modelled on the courier.

Should stick to hoops blue and white for home and red and white for away just like the old days.

Ooh someone has dared to disagree with the Fax Fans Forum elite and offered an opinion that doesn't fit with halifaxjohn and his cronies year on year the club bring out hideous shirts and like sheep a couple of hundred buy them

Agree, but sadly the club would make no money and so why we have various Shirt designs. For me many are awful, like last years for example. I personally would always have a Blue and White Hooped home jersey with slight differences each time. The away shirt can be the one they do the fancy stuff on. Would be good to have the red and white one back with black number on like the old alternative shirt used to be

I was simply trying to point out that us =#0040FFsheep, like season ticket holders, like supporters who pay on the day, like anyone who puts their well earned cash into the club they love are trying to increase the revenue of the club.
Again I apologise if that wasn't clear.

LIke the Shirt but would have liked hoops incorporated in it similar to the early nineties 1 when we had the green n white away strip n blue n white home they had hoops and V.

I might be a boring old fart but I also agree with this. I also think that we should only change shirts in case of a colour clash and not just for the sake of it. As a club we have pride in the Blue and White Hoops and everyone knows who we are. With V we could be confused with Swinton or Barrow or Featherstone, who have all included it from time to time. Although the new shirt is good looking I won't be buying one. I will be wearing one of my traditional ones until we get another hooped one. I bought a coaches coat this season instead, to wear at the World Cup games, for the traditional weather.

As regards the red and white shirts. I would have to consult the club historian about this but I believe that we used them as a change strip[ because they were the original choice for the Fax colours but didn't arrive in time for the first game! Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong

Now then halifaxjohn although I look out for Halifax Towns results and wish their team, club we'll for the future I cannot remember the last time I attended one of their games

I like you have supported Halifax for many years and supported the club through crisis after crisis season after season, thankfully we have had some good times to balance the heartache and now the club seems to be we'll run I am also a season ticket holder member of the Gold Club and a Fax Flyer Agent.

It really makes me chuckle that just because a new member comes on here and offers a different point of view from the others they are immediately castigated by the likes of you and Little Rich.
