We are completely lost at the moment without Murrell, back to where we were for large chunks of last year with Handforth in the halves.

We can make excuses about injury but we was outplayed by a team who showed more enthusiasm and wanted to win. Some players at Fax simply are not good enough and others need to sort themselves. Poor discipline, poor defence and clueless in attack. No chance of any silverware this year. Massive financial blow for the club and the players deserve no money tonight

Oh and at least the whingers can now shut up about the final being at the Shay.

Spot on Rich, everything they did well they have stopped doing, the intensity has gone, we're predictable and slow. We're not finished by any stretch of the imagination, we can still win the comp, but the potential revenue and any growth of the fan base from good cup runs has gone and could really damage the clubs finances, I fear unless performances improve sharply the 1800 break even target is going to be tough to achieve. We've only a handful of fixtures at home now that can attract any fans in numbers.

If it was a shared gate I'd go but unfortunately I have a 'thing' about the seagulls and on this form I won't put money in their pockets.

It's OK the players tweeting about "where are you fans" when things are going well, but equally if we were 6 points clear of Fev, in the CC quarters and in the NR semi's then of course we would all be at Bramhall Lane. Me & BJ will be at every game after Sheff but I'm afraid I can't drag myself down there on current form.

Dewsbury were very average, but we were worse. We could/should still have won the game with a little more composure.

Gutted, that was poor. Reminds me of the back end of last season. Its too late now to bring in anyone of much quality but next season we need a new half back pairing, its not working, and a hooker but we knew that at the begining of the season anyway. For me our pack and some of our backs are good enough but our halfs and 9`s are probably one of the worst combos in the league without Murrell.

I would like to understand how our long range try got disallowed? o'k the reason seemed to be how we won the ball in the first place resulting in a penalty for a high tackle.
My point?
Did the ref see the high tackle but think "they aren't going to score so I will let it go"
Did he see it at all and then get a whisper in his mike, "best review that"
I may be well out of touch, but, wasn't the video ref first brought in to verify the touch down and then later on to see if someone was off side?
Not sure it is wise to use it for something which might or might not have happened at the other end of the pitch.
One thing for sure, if that game hadn't been televised we would have won.
So another point, how can sport have technology in one game and not in another.
Just a thought, I'm probably wrong, I usually am.
