I had heard a rumour that Wakey are over the cap and needed to find a way to get back under. Maybe this is part of their plan that instead of releasing him they loan him out with Fax now paying 3 months wages and then bring him back. Fits perfectly for Fax and Wakey if the rumour is true about Wakey and the cap. Wakey a joke of a club who just go from one disaster to the next. Still no news on their dream stadium neither.

Luckyblackcat you are obviously clueless. Not at full salary cap so no problems there. Don't know where you've been hiding but a public enquiry has just been held with regards to the stadium. The inspector is now reading through all the evidence and will give his reccomendation to Eric pickles in march/April 2012. Until he's done that there's nothing else can be said about the new stadium. Plans approved for improvements to belle vue and work begins early January bringing capacity up to 12000 with cover also being added to the north and west terrace. All in all a club delivering on its promises. Suggest you do a bit of research before slating others, take it you're still bitter that you lost the franchise even though your club has had all the reasons explained and accepted the decision despite the childish outburst from your chairman in the heat of the moment.

1) Bitter? Why would I be bitter when my team have a good chance of winning silverware and face little chance of being smashed each week. My team also has a decent Stadium and has not been in administration once again in the past 12 months.

2) Where is the news on your stadium? As you have said "Until he's done that there's nothing else can be said about the new stadium" so you are not able to say whether you are in a position to build a stadium anytime in the next 4 months. There has been no news on your stadium for months. IF - (and whilst Wakey fans may feel things look good)- you cant say for definate the inquest will be in your favour. IF you get bad news then where are you then? Buggered. And IF you get the green light you still have to get the thing built and payed for which will take time. Your club doesnt deserve to be in SL and I hope personally you are replaced by another club next time round whether it be Fax, Fev or whoever. YOu have had your time and mainly wasted money and opportunities.

3) I am pretty sure you will find that a club can spend up to a set amount, as long as it is no more than 50% of the clubs "salary cap relevant income". Now Wakefield probably have now got a wage bill thats just over 50 % of their "Salary Cap Income". So they are not in a position to spend the full cap as they dont meet the guidelines set out. Now I would think Wakey are looking to use the Matt James Loan to solve this current problem they ALLEGEDLY have with the cap. Why else would they sign a player and then loan him out for 3 months? An Academy player or a player not named in the 25 man squad would not count on this but on another issue regarding the cap and so it has to be one of the 25 man named players of the first team.

Wakey had to offload due to being over the salary cap & that's the truth. This has been sizzling for quite a while & has been common knowledge around these parts. My sources tell me his agent is the same one as one of our other props who might not be at full fitness right now, ironic ?

At least our chairman was prepared to face the press, well those who weren't peeping through the locked gates at whatever Belle Vue is called nowadays after your club decided having the press around wasn't such a good idea. That was embarassing, they expected the chop & we all know it, sickening to see them celebrating about an hour after the Cru debacle became public.

now now children! dont let this news turn into a slanging match again. wakey are in SL, we are not. however future looks very bright at Fax, and wakey dont seem to know whats going on, which seems to happen quite alot. im sure if we keep building and challenging for honours we'll do just fine.

great news about matt james, was quality for us before, and was a stand out player at barrow (when he played). we have effectivly signed a SL quality prop for 3 months, and if the rumours are true about wakeys salary cap, i cant see him going back anytime soon.

im sure MJ is delighted with the wakey board if this is the case.

Very bitter. You didn't deserve your place otherwise you'd have got the invitation. Amazing how you know the finances of our club. Weve just sold nearly 4000 season tickets and over 1000 shirts in less than a month. James has been loaned to you to get him up to scratch if he's needed for us in super league, at the moment he isn't ready for super league week in week out, u20 rugby wouldn't improve him where as a stint at a top end champ club will improve him no end. Good to see your club have put aside their difference and formed a professional working relationship with us. Now it's just the fans who need to realise that you weren't ready and hope your club takes the rfl advice in order to gain a franchise next time whether it be in place of us Cas Salford Bradford (who are going backwards in my opinion) or whoever else.

By the way I beat no grudge against fax and would like them back at the top table. Used to love days out at thrum hall (proper rugby league ground) and have enjoyed my visits to the shay. There's nothing you or I can do re the last licences but just remember if us Cas or any others fail to live up to our promises then we have been told we can expect to be replaced. At this moment in time we have done everything we have said we will do in our application. If your club are making the improvements demanded of them then I'm sure if there are any slip ups you will be the first club the rfl look at to promote and the I ones going cant have any qualms about it as we all know the rules. If you are going to go on a rant then get your facts rights. The 50% rule was abolished a few years ago. James was brought in before Agar got the job and quite frankly he just doesn't rate him. He has been trying to get rid since he took over without any success. He will be way down the pecking order so the move makes sense. It has nothing to do with the salary cap, we are well under that.
