Has he signed up yet,or has he moved on?

I havnt seen anything confirmed but looking at the courier tonight matt calland talks about penky having to play full 80 cos bob wasnt available for yesterdays game so going off callands comments i would say he is signed up.

His kicking game was badly missing yesterday

first two kicks from black were good then for the rest of the game kicking game was very poor. need jones n beswick to rectify it.

Isn't the problem that ALL the 2 year deals have to be renegotiated due to the RFL reducing the Salary Caps for The Championship & Division 1

I think this is where the problem lies.

We just dont know the current position with the 2 year dealers. The club, quite rightly, are tight lipped until they have finished their talks, and we will continue to speculate.

The only worry is that the competetive season starts pretty soon, so it needs to be sorted out sooner rather than later.

He'll be officially under contract in that scenario and unless agrees new terms on a deal / a release he will stick on that contract. Tbh Fax knew this change was happening when quickly handed out new deals and I guess were hoping for more than one years exception!

When deals were announced their was already plenty of talk about cap going down and most agreeing to it. I remember thinking sly dogs but fair play to Fax when quickly announced a good few big re-signings as was all looking pretty certain just not official. You didn't do anything wrong, but just don't act like lowering of cap came out of the blue

A Fev fan elsewhere said Pryce had been linked which was the funniest thing I've read in a long while!

Again not too surprised IF Bob left. You cant blame him for going where the money is. Has never let us down. I still hope he stays but if not then all the best Bob. I personally think the Salary Cap is way too low at this level especially if the top teams are looking at SL in a couple of years time. Its one of the many things in the game that I personally do not agree with.

Why would Bob go to a smaller club like Fev?

Why are Fev smaller? Similar Crowds, Well run club, Won the League and a very good coach. Fev have a wad load of cash free plus Briggs as freed much cash to sign a quality player. I doubt Fax can match what Fev have offered due to the cap etc.

My understanding is Dom was only released as he had negotiated a new club outside the UK. Bob IS STILL contracted and like all players is open to renegotiate the contract up or down!! As a few players have already pre season. If the players wish to not negotiate the club as long as keeps to the agreed contract is entitled to a fee from another club, unless an agreement has been made to release. My understanding is that negotiations were ongoing with the squad and those negotiations were now concluded? The squad was pretty much finalised. My head says Bob is tied to us this season now but I may be wrong?? A good gauge is if he is in the team tomorrow!!??
