Was talking to Mike Riley in the south stand bar after the Ovenden game and he said the east stand would be open for the Hunslet game on the 21st

Im trying to imagine just how annoyed some Town fans will be by the fact that we get to "open" the stand.......

no-one appears to be annoyed at all if you read our forum, not much reaction to it really, i would prefer Town to open it if we got a choice but as it is when we get it its going to be the same feeling as it would if we used it first anyway

FC Halifax Town have spent our entire playing History at the Shay, FC Halifax Town also retained Halifax Town AFC's history when we reformed therefore can be considered a permanent fixture at the shay

The entire history would imply you took the name, the company itself, and presumably the finances and debts to go with it. But you didn't, you formed a new club, who were then allowed to use the community stadium, which had previously belonged to a club now defunct and liquidated.
