I'm going to probably stick with the South Stand.

Me and the 2 lads usually stand central behind the South Stand posts, just in front of the Barmy Army, but we have got our season tickets for the new stand to say we were there when it finally opens for business.

Hope the atmosphere transfers into the stand as well as the South Stand match day experience. Will be much nearer the benches as well to feel more vibes coming from the team.

Does anyone know if reserved seating for season ticket holders is being arranged by the club?

will try the east stand out for interests sake but i need to be stood up at rugby games its a good workout

South Stand for me. It will be good to open the east stand but I just don't feel you get the same atmos sat down.

ive been in the skirkoat since going to the shay, but now moving over to the East stand. Peaked cap and sunglasses at the ready.

will get the rain in your face in the east stand then the sun in your eyes during the summer. south stand for me.

I see what you are saying, but I prefer to sit down, and like to sit around the half way line to watch the play at both ends of the field, which you cant do from behind the sticks. Even in some of the nicer days we had this year it was cold in the Skircoat stand and would have been sat in the sun in the East stand. Sunglasses and peaked cap will do it.

If we drop lucky for a home fixture that one day in July when the sun appears !

Still the south stand for us but would like to try the east stand maybe for 1 of the cup games.

Dosnt look like it. I heard the only bar that will be open is the one in the new stand. Maybe the club can confirm which bars will be open.
