[iHALIFAX captain Sean Penkywicz has become the first of the club's out-of-contract stars to commit to for next season.
The 27 year old hooker or half back, a former National League One Player of the Year nominee, has signed a new two year deal that will keep him at the Shay until the next round of Super League licences are dished out in 2012.
And Fax's director of football Martin Hall has said he expects further announcements ahead of Sunday's Northern Rail Cup blockbuster against Widnes at the Shay.[/i

To be honest - i would be less peeved off if any of our players went to a SL club. However, going to another Championship club would just be gutting and i might add, a step backwards for the player. I'm sure Varks would testify to that  |
