Can`t believe the ref actually let the Leigh tries stand ,when it was obviously down to your mistakes and not good attacking play from Leigh... Thats using your logic I hasten to add.

You deserved it, should have been twenty up at half time. Both teams have to tighten up defences. Also saw a leyther shove a programme into the face of a young 'fax fan, which I have written complaints to both clubs to try and investigate it. The lad who did this is a well known idiot. Sorry to the fax lad that was on the recieving end of this, not all leythers are complete prats.

You've got to understand the frustration from such simple mistakes. Credit to you lot, with such a injury struck side, you really pushed us to the limit.

If that had been an SL game on Sky they would of been creaming themselves.
Good game even though we lost,good support for both teams and the ref gave some dodgy decisions for both,the Donlan juggling try was more than compensated for Faxs try that included 2 really obvious forward passes.

I'm sure we will meet at least once more this season.

By the way some brilliant goal kicking today from both Patterson and Nanyn.

Aye the ref wasn't exactly bad to either side, he just lost control of the overall game. And that has to be the first time i've ever seen Mick miss a kick, his 10 minute build up obviously didn't pay off that time.

First real time all season our defence hasn't been solid but full credit to your attack it was real quality at times. Although I couldn't see what exactly happened with Donlan, if it was wrong am sure it was cancelled out by the forward passes in your first try

some great rugby played today Rob has come on so much recently and scored a hatrick there last year too nash's offloads are great and Branigan's kicking game was good too overall a great team effort just need to sort the defence

Donlan grounded the ball, so to me with the current rules, its a fair try, i do question the 'control of the ball' aspect of the rule though. That was a big bonus point Leigh got though, with our points difference being so poor i think we needed to be a bit more ruthless.

6 wins in a row in the league, were on form, were scoring points, were conceding a bundle. its a good thing our attack is as good as it is, it amazes me how we can be so poor in defence and still win most games

Great win fax today, though our defence is still a worry.

It is about time someone posted the truth about todays game.

First three Fax tries were off forward passes. Another one came from a kick by Shennanigans I think where he went to kick towards the South West corner of the pitch only to slice it to go North East where an unmarked Fax player was stood in a clearly offside position. The Leigh try by Donlan was fortuitous in that he lost the ball going over the line when it rico shayed (that is how you spell it I think)off 2 Fax knees before he regathered and scored an elegant try. Then that ball steal by Worrincy where he rabbit punched Nanyn then kneed him in the groin then rabbit punched him and with the TJ and ref looking the other way ran 80 metres for a very dubious try.

Well done Fax great attack bad defence so we got a bonus point and beat you on aggregate in the two games.

The programme incident was one of many shocking incidents from various Leigh fans today. I have never felt so intimidated or upset at a game in all my 20yrs of watching rugby league. One guy was shouting racist comments at various fax players said it was his right to be racist, WHAT!!! I don't go to watch games to listen to that disgraceful behaviour. Sorry Jonny the Leyther but I didn't encounter one pleasant Leigh fan today and it ruined my day. I have also e-mailed the RFL and Leigh about the many incidents today

Well played to Fax, although the ref gave bad decisions against both teams i still feel that at least 2 fax players should have been sin binned for high tackles. The attacking rugby from Halifax was good, i think that our defence was poor did contribute but still. If that match would have been on Sky it would have been a real credit to our league. I'd expect us to see each other again this season.

We have a few racist idiots in our following I'm afraid - at Bradford I told a gang of lads who were chanting an offensive comment about the town's ethnic makeup followed by "BNP" to grow up and their response was that it was the same as chanting for the labour or tory parties!

This is a problem in society but we each have to deal with our own small part of it and so the stewards at LSV should be mandated to eject anyone making offensive statements.

I'm sorry you didn't meet any pleasant Leigh fans but assure you the vast majority are perfectly decent!

Boy do we not like easy wins. Why do we always have to keep these games interesting. Great game from both sides in attack at times. Some dreadful defence as well at times. Although not to take it away from some of the line breaks that were created and executed. Great advert for the championship and a good day out.

Agree totally on the racist taunts and abusive language. The stewards warned the persons concerned and then failed to eject them when the behaviour continued. The Leigh 'Fans' then began to mock the fax fans who turned to the stewards requesting action. The stewards just shrugged their shoulders. The steward stood in the control box at the back of the North stand saw the behaviour and failed to act. A full investigation needs to take place. At the end of the game they spat on Halifax fans repeatedly.

Felt bad for Paul White, he didn't half recieve some abuse from the Leigh fans in the area I was sitting in.

Out of order with the racist stuff, Leigh have a habit of singing racist songs too. Widnes complained to the RFL a few years ago regards this when they visited and it appears things havent changed.

Back to the game! Well done 'Fax - as I said in the programme, the mentality of 'you score two, and we'll score three' is highly entertaining! The better team won, and I think Leigh did very well to claw back the bonus point, when a humiliation was on the cards, at 46-28. Leigh were always chasing the game.

Oh, and just to balance some earlier posts, I spent a pleasant afternoon, in the West stand, with some knowledgable and friendly 'Fax fans!
