So it looks like a Leigh v Widnes Final, although I am sure Keighley will push Widnes all the way being at home.

I say Widnes as it stops Leigh getting the tick in the box - for now anyway.
But I would prefer a Batley v Keighley Final !!!

I would actually want Leigh to win, but you're right it would stop them from ticking that box. So Widnes then, wouldn't rule out Batley though.

Hey I would prefer Leigh as i am no fan of Widnes but it would mean Leigh qualifying to apply for a SL Licence and after seeing the LSV they would have a strong case.

well to start with i think it will be a Leigh and Widnes in the final.

I can't look past Widnes to win it again, let them have there time in the Rail cup as at this point it doesnt look like they will get near the grand final.

Can't write leigh off for me they are strong and aggresive, Widnes are a tough team to beat too but i can see widnes going into the game with Keighley under prepared Keighley can scrap it out like they did against Sheffield...

On the topic of stadiums, I noticed that Widnes will host the challenge cup semi final between Wire & Catalans, the other one is at the Galf.

Ouch, and the Leigh lot seemed positive that they were hosting.

Not sure who i would want to win. I expect this to be Leighs only chance as i doubt they will get to the Grand Final.

I'd like Leigh to win it. They deserve a shot at handing in an application. Have you seen their stadium? It's bloody fantastic and yet 2 Super League clubs playing out of sheds wil still get a license ahead of them.

I personally would only like Widnes to win and then either Widnes, us or Barrow to win the grand final, because we need to limit the number of teams that are eligible to apply for the next round of licences.

Hats off to the RFL for creating a competition where it doesnt matter if you win something, you just hope not so many other clubs do.

I'd rather the RFL be presented with another headache of another club with a spanking brand new stadium applying. The more ridiculous we can all make the licensing process look, the better it will be for all in future.

One less club applying for a license isn't going to affect Fax in 2012 because it's only Widnes who are going up anyway IMHO.

Not really interested after our farce of a knockout, another fantastic opportunity wasted when you see the teams in the last 4, its one day Id love to sample.

Whoever wins on the day, we all know Widnes and Toulouse are getting the places in SL anyway...

Batley will turn Leigh over

Having now been to the LSV, i think if Leigh tick that box they will go straight ahead of us to get a license. While i think neither of us will, i'd still rather be a bitter git and want Widnes to win it and give us a little hope to be honest.



Keighley and Batley will both give them a run for their money in the Semi's though definitely

me too. long time since been to watch fax in a k.o. final. fax made big mess in both cups this time.

As you guys don't have a game on Sunday the 20th June why don't you come down and support your neighbours Keighley against Widnes it will be a great atmosphere and if we have your support then who knows what can happen.

If your club promote the game, there's no reason why you can't attract the same support that Batley did last week against Le Cats.
