| Another press release from the board that tells us absolutely nothing - I may be an old cynic but you would think if they had anything positive to announce they'd be shouting it from the rooftops. I will be absolutely delighted to be proved wrong.

|
Baffles me how both hmrc and the rugby club both represented by so called super duper barristers "need more time to gather evidence " how much more time do you need this boring story as been rambling on for months . I can only surmise these barristers are working from home.[/quote:2lehrdd1]
Fev's 2023 accounts now filed, and they lost nearly a million quid and had net liabilities of over £460k, and that includes the ground asset of £1.5 million. Interestingly the company has applied to be struck off. Will investigate further.[/quote:ir4bvypa]
Why do you think the company has "applied" to be struck off - isn't this a compulsory strike-off action which is directly related to the late filing, and it's no coincidence that the accounts and confirmation statement were filed the same day? This doesn't seem that unusual amongst rugby league clubs, for instance Batley appeared to have done it about 10 years in a row. https://find-and-update.company-informa ... ory?page=1

Maybe so, Phantom, but it's so shoddy. Isn't it? Can't even file simple stuff on time when they have months to do it. OK, I think the fine is only about 400 quid but what an unnecessary waste of a couple of season ticket sales, eh?
