These are the instructions on the e bar code ticket and also confirmed by telephone to the club this morning.

Quote "Please bring these tickets with you to the event. Personal details such as your address may be used for verification on entry." End.

I presume the answer may likely be because I have season tickets the club will have my personal details on record from when I purchased them.

My name is also on the e ticket for Sundays game so a simple check would be to ask me for verbal confirmation of my address against the name on the ticket as cross reference.
