Really pleased at this result.
It's great for the competition and the giant killing aspects, it's great for the sport the best in the world but one that still needs big headlines to boost its growth.
It's massive for the town of Halifax and will have cause a buzz about the rugby league heartland .

But more than anything it's superb for the fans who have stuck by the team in these lean times and the backroom staff who run the club much better than many SL set ups.

Halifax boast a reserve team which in my opinion every team should have . This is killing our game and Halifax are a super league thinking club.

Haven't you seen the attendances at the other CC matches? Far more embarrassing are "established" SL clubs Hull KR and Salford pulling in 2,188 and 1,101 respectively and even the bullies only got 1,691. And the whinos got 4,197.

Interesting.



You'd've thought they'd've liked the chance to see their team win for a change.
