Having seen the highlights on Fax TV I agree with Richard Marshall that at least that last try came from a blatant forward pass, you need the Ref and TJs calls to be right and sadly they let us down.

Yes, and for a Champ team to beat a SL team you need things to go right for you, that means getting your plays right and the officials getting there's right too.mbatley gave the 1st try away on Friday and then the ref got at least one if not two wrong by missing forward passes as well as not binning players for dangerous tackles. I still don't think Batley would have won due to the strength of the Catalans side but it would have been closer, Fax though could and perhaps should have won, if we had been a bit more clinical and held the ball at viral times the game should have been ours.
Hopefully if we take that on we can use it as a springboard because a Fax team doing everything right is good enough to beat any team in this league.

Cant grumble with the performance too much. We lack a bit of composure at times and try to force pass when not on. Having said that we would complain that 5 drives and kick was boring rugby like we deployed under KH. For me would have had Andrade on bench because at times was lacking big men to take ball forward. However cant grumble too much at RM selection and on another day would have won. Good effort lads.

A great effort by all the team from 1 to 17. Well done, now let's repeat it again on Sunday against Batley.
