Well....we got home at 0045 today! That included a 45 minute refreshment stop, never known owt like it, but at the end of the day some poor person has died, although I don't know why the motorway has to be closed for NINE hours. As for the match, it really shouldn't have gone on although I'm glad it did. A great effort by both sets of players and at the end of the season we might be looking back at this match and realising what a great two points we came back with. Up The Fax!

Seven hours to get home but worth being one of the 641 supporters there. Proper art of course rugby day yesterday. Waterlogged pitch. Couldn't recognise anybody after 10 mins as all covered in mud. Arm wrestle rugby and a knock- on- athon from both. sides. Never easy going up to Worky and getting the points-especially yesterday. Well done-nilled the opposition and took the limited chances we did create. Winning games like this at the front end of the season can be pivotal for where we finish at the end of the season.
Batley game has all the makings of a cracker already.They have beaten Leigh and Sheffield and will fancy their chances no doubt.Yesterdays defence and same attack as Whitehaven game and we will be in for an interesting afternoon. At least it won't take me 7 hours to get home next Sunday.

We saw signs about m6 so travelled via A66,A1M and M62 to drop friend off in Fax then back to Wakefield and was home by 8-30.Glad I made that decision otherwise heaven knows what time we would have got to Wakey
