Due to work commitments, Shad Royston had origionally not been able to make it over to our Danny Jones Game. Since then, Royston has pushed everything back at work, to be able to fly accross the world from his home in Queensland, Australia to join us.
"I really didnt want to miss it at all, I can't wait to be back on the Shay pitch, playing for this cause" Shad told us.
Director, Tony Abbott commented, "We're so glad we've got shad, who's a local Halifax star from the not so distant past, travelling such a journey to make this day even better. It's huge."

Totally agree, when we look back I think we may say that he was one of the best players we have had in many a year. Not sure what e Hall of Fame criteria are but he must be up there pushing it from players from the last 10 years.
