Batley had a DR player from Cas last night.

As well as two from Shuddersfield.

Not sure how that happened but it's just part of the shambles that DR is.

Early in the Close season, before the 2013 Dual Registration provisions had been adopted, Batley and Castleford agreed the Dual Registration of (ex-Halifax Junior) Danny Fleming, and the documents were registered by the RFL.
Then 2013's shortsighted arrangements permitting the Championship to be used as Super League's plaything, were adopted, and Batley within the rules made a Partnership agreement with Huddersfield Giants.
To be fair to Batley, they may be using D/R players from 3 SL Clubs, but they've not played, or registered any over-age players other than Walmsley, who they found and developed.

I would challenge that statement.

I understand Jacob Fairbank is going to London, that'll be his fourth club this season along with his parent club Huddersfield, Batley & Bradford.
Can't we just have him back on full time basis and get the lad settled instead of all this loaning & dual reg stuff. Good luck Jacob.
