Strange as it may seem anyone can submit a planning application on someone elses land as we once found out . Someone who had their planning turned down due to their lack of parking provision resubmitted it again complete with parking in our car park. When we rang the council and objected they said the person who submitted the plans had no legal duty to inform us but if we objected they would not get it passed .
The laws an ass.
